lol

but back to the subject at hand

read the link below and tell te that this controller is not a good one. are you that ignorant to say this think is the same as a 150 dollar boost contoller. so the guys at performance mag. is wrong.?

http://www.world-racing.com/presspages/jan06modified.html

http://www.world-motorsports.com/wmstore/i...p;products_id=1

i think everyone mist the link.

read the posts on the first page

IT IS NO DIFFERENT TO THE 500 OTHER BOOST CONTROLLERS IN THAT PRICE RANGE.

Do you believe everything you read in magazines?

If they told you it was a good idea to run cooking oil as petrol, would you do that too?

Honestly.

"read the link below and tell te that this controller is not a good one. are you that ignorant to say this think is the same as a 150 dollar boost contoller. so the guys at performance mag. is wrong.?"

yeh dude we all "this" think is the same contoller

and the guys at performance mag is all wrong.

son of rajab help us

not saying its no better than mine haha ofcourse man its 1000 but i just meant in the way that how he was talking about it... yah i own one thats why i was talking about it. all i was doing was bring a new item to be view at. i wouldn't call it the best ever but i have spent a hole lot on controllers and by far this think is the best. its upgradeable by software if you want to run your own configuration you can send the unit back and have it calibrated to your setup. never Had a boost spike ever with this unit.

In all i meant nothing negative. if theres a problem speaking about items or reviewing them just say so.

it seems like new people especially from another country's is not liked on this site. i never said anything negative before others on this site did.

i my opinion i would like to see different items that i can use from all over this world. point in example

Kyle's turbo manifold (6boost) for the money i placed an order for one. This is bring money to your country. i just dont understand the whole don't help him attitude. I'm not saying you just most people on the site are negative to people especially from another country's. This is what i ment about the japs. i've never spoken to a jap that never listened. they may not take it to haert but they want your money, in turn they give you good service

In Before the Lock

ps

lol

pps

To get this striaght, what MJTru is saying is heres a boost controller that can give you awesome preformance in an otherwise stock car? See heres my preped drag car for an example. But GTR's are slow and thats why your dollar is weak? And pls ignore the fact that mine is too?

Read before you talk the same advice that you gave me then you'll see the benefits

lol so what everyone at performance mag. don't know what there talking about.

(ignorant as i thought.)

see if any GTRs can hit these times

This is a 4WD eclipse and this is one of his bad times

keep on dreaming GTR fans show me something better. (thats real)

I'll give you the world wide web to find a GTR as fast as this, don't even think hks skyline. when you all find one, I'll show you the last video thats not on the net.

so step up

Im not quite sure why your mad at me, i just asked a question. I didnt critisize your boost controller.

Grow up will you.

And im pretty sure the Heat Treatments GTR was built in NZ.

Im sure this boost controller is fantastic and i would be willing to pay the extra money if it could do a better job then say a HKS EVC version 6 which i have just bought. It dosent mean that because its twice as expensive, its 200% better.

Quote from Jeremy Clarkson about America: 'Everyones very fat, everyones very stupid and everybodys very rude."

I respect the US very much in terms of their technology, films and music; a great superpower but honestly alot of the population are very cocky and arrogant.

+1

It seems he came here trying to start a fight? Or when his shameless plug was exposed did he just resort to us v aus insults?

People like this have developed an attitute problem to compensate for their stupidity; the internet is an easy way to make yourself look good by lying. God knows how many times ive heard people bagging others by saying they have more money then someone else, a better car or house blah blah blah.

He's basically saying that his 1000dollar EBC can turn his eclipse into a GTR beater; cmon he is probably appart of the fast and furious brigade and thinks he's paul walker.

"I see a cool air intake, nos fogger system and a t4 turbo domanic"

MJtru: Hey, wait, hold up! I don't have any cash, but I do have the pink slip to my eclipse

Jesse: Wait, you just can't climb in the ring with Ali 'cause you think you box!

MJtru: [points to Vince] He *knows* I can box! So check it out, it's like this: If I lose, winner takes my car clean and clear. But if I win, I take the cash, *and* I take the respect!

Dom: [laughing] Respect?

MJtru: To some people, that's more important

Dom: ...That your car?

jesse: You can't bet your dad's car.

MJtru: It's all right. I ain't losin'. This fool is running a GTR. I'll win. Then me and my dad can roll together when he gets out of prison. It's all good.

Hector: [walks over to MJtru] Sweet ride! Whatcha runnin' under there, man?

Hector: [MJtru grins] You're gonna make me find out the hard way?

Brian: Hell yeah!

Hector: You're brave! You're brave! They call me Hector. Gotta last name too, but I can't pronounce it

MJtru: [shakes Hectors hand] Brian Spilner.

Hector: Typical white boy name, know what I mean?

jesse: "I see a cool air intake, nos fogger system and a TBC-1 | Total Boost Control from WORLD electronicsomanic"

[racing ensues]

MJtru: You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car... Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake! You almost had me?

Extra: You Tell him MJtru. Get out of here

MJtru: Now, me and the mad scientist got to rip apart the block... and replace the piston rings you fried.

[closes bonnet of car]

Dom: "Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn't matter if your economy's sliding fast into recession; winning's winning.

hahahaha, thats some funny stuff man.

jesse: shitty eclipse engine no shiiiit

dom: I retract my previous statement

jesse: this will decimate all after you put around 15 grand into it or more, if we have to overnight parts from japan

Mjtru: dont forget the 1000dollar boost control kit cos it'll run nines

dom: unhoo-unhook yourself (dom flexes)

your like me man, can recall the entire dialogue of that movie.

jesse: "I see a cool air intake, nos fogger system and a TBC-1 | Total Boost Control from WORLD electronicsomanic"

HAHAHA too funny

im pretty amateur at all this but somehow i know that there would be no difference between a $200 EBC and this $1000 one.

just a load of sh!t

all it does is control boost. it doesnt make your car transform into a f#*kin drag car wen u turn the boost up.

"oh look, this GTR wants to race my street spec Ecplise! let me turn up boost and TRANSFORM! *cue transformer noise* Now i can beat him in my 7sec drag spec Eclipse!"

    • I know why it happened and I’m embarrassed to say but I was testing the polarity of one of the led bulb to see which side was positive with a 12v battery and that’s when it decided to fry hoping I didn’t damage anything else
    • I came here to note that is a zener diode too base on the info there. Based on that, I'd also be suspicious that replacing it, and it's likely to do the same. A lot of use cases will see it used as either voltage protection, or to create a cheap but relatively stable fixed voltage supply. That would mean it has seen more voltage than it should, and has gone into voltage melt down. If there is something else in the circuit dumping out higher than it should voltages, that needs to be found too. It's quite likely they're trying to use the Zener to limit the voltage that is hitting through to the transistor beside it, so what ever goes to the zener is likely a signal, and they're using the transistor in that circuit to amplify it. Especially as it seems they've also got a capacitor across the zener. Looks like there is meant to be something "noisy" to that zener, and what ever it was, had a melt down. Looking at that picture, it also looks like there's some solder joints that really need redoing, and it might be worth having the whole board properly inspected.  Unfortunately, without being able to stick a multimeter on it, and start tracing it all out, I'm pretty much at a loss now to help. I don't even believe I have a climate control board from an R33 around here to pull apart and see if any of the circuit appears similar to give some ideas.
    • Nah - but you won't find anything on dismantling the seats in any such thing anyway.
    • Could be. Could also be that they sit around broken more. To be fair, you almost never see one driving around. I see more R chassis GTRs than the Renault ones.
    • Yeah. Nah. This is why I said My bold for my double emphasis. We're not talking about cars tuned to the edge of det here. We're talking about normal cars. Flame propagation speed and the amount of energy required to ignite the fuel are not significant factors when running at 1500-4000 rpm, and medium to light loads, like nearly every car on the road (except twin cab utes which are driven at 6k and 100% load all the time). There is no shortage of ignition energy available in any petrol engine. If there was, we'd all be in deep shit. The calorific value, on a volume basis, is significantly different, between 98 and 91, and that turns up immediately in consumption numbers. You can see the signal easily if you control for the other variables well enough, and/or collect enough stats. As to not seeing any benefit - we had a couple of EF and EL Falcons in the company fleet back in the late 90s and early 2000s. The EEC IV ECU in those things was particularly good at adding in timing as soon as knock headroom improved, which typically came from putting in some 95 or 98. The responsiveness and power improved noticeably, and the fuel consumption dropped considerably, just from going to 95. Less delta from there to 98 - almost not noticeable, compared to the big differences seen between 91 and 95. Way back in the day, when supermarkets first started selling fuel from their own stations, I did thousands of km in FNQ in a small Toyota. I can't remember if it was a Starlet or an early Yaris. Anyway - the supermarket servos were bringing in cheap fuel from Indonesia, and the other servos were still using locally refined gear. The fuel consumption was typically at least 5%, often as much as 8% worse on the Indo shit, presumably because they had a lot more oxygenated component in the brew, and were probably barely meeting the octane spec. Around the same time or maybe a bit later (like 25 years ago), I could tell the difference between Shell 98 and BP 98, and typically preferred to only use Shell then because the Skyline ran so much better on it. Years later I found the realtionship between them had swapped, as a consequence of yet more refinery closures. So I've only used BP 98 since. Although, I must say that I could not fault the odd tank of United 98 that I've run. It's probably the same stuff. It is also very important to remember that these findings are often dependent on region. With most of the refineries in Oz now dead, there's less variability in local stuff, and he majority of our fuels are not even refined here any more anyway. It probably depends more on which SE Asian refinery is currently cheapest to operate.
