Reviving an old thread VS making a new one for a reposted topic?

Chun Po in Malvern does great duck, tuesday night a thin layer of fat though, tonights had none. Very good amount of meat, nice skin. Singapore noodles are great, prawns seemed nice(better than those damn shrimp you get in glenny!). Good Service. Few reviews on the wall when you walk in the door that would suggest they do better with the critics than Rock Kung. Should be okay for 2-4 people walk in early in the week, book later in the week.

+1 for Chun Po, wandered in there by chance and was very surpised. Unlike other awesome asian restaraunts which have great food but shittastic decor and service, this place seems to be quite nice in every area. Will definitely go back.

Old post but I agree with this! Silky is a nice atmosphere for me. Owner/manager is a very friendly guy who always has time for his regulars even if it's only your second visit. It's not value oriented food but I've never had a bad meal there and of course you're going to pay more for a good dining setting in Armadale. I'd take that over a noisy little take away shop anyday.

Has anyone tried SiChuan Dining Room in Glenferrie Rd Hawthorn? I love my spicy foods, anything with chilli etc...there was this one chicken dish there that cleared out everyones noses at the table. It was almost TOO spicy - had to keep eating it or you'd suffer the consequences of the spice.
