Who has the Auto Salon 'Ultimate Club' trophy?

Recommended Posts

This question was posed from an unrelated thread - who has the SAU trophy?

Someone must have it? It's a little ungainly to be mistaken for an ashtray or something - where did it go?

It would be nice to have it returned.

That goes for the copy of Gran Turismo 3 as well - that was missing from one of the PS2s (disc only, no cover) :D

So... where is the trophy?

Any ideas?

Could someone actually 'ask' Amber if she has it? I don't have her mobile number anymore...

Dr Drift: I know you guys have the one for Esbatu... is the SAU one there too?

Leewah: Have you got all yours (ah - 3 I think)?

oops.....

Only just saw this thread....

it's been here the whole time

If anyone would like to have thier photo taken with it or touch it if they ask nice, feel free to pop down anytime :)

hehehe

I reckon this presents an interesing and possibly incendiary problem.

Because we as SAU VIC don't exist in any " official" sense, because we don't have an "official" committee and no "official" membership criteria, how would one determine who has rights to possess such a trophy?

I'm not particularly worried who has the trophy as I wasn't in town for, nor did I put in work for MAS but for those that did, are they happy for the trophy to be a t BMT? But if not, where else would it go?

Things that make your go hmmmmmmmmmmm

well wardest... where could it go ?

no place really other than someones house!

Thats why I called it an interesting and possibly incendiary problem.

I don't have the answers to such questions. You guys must search inside yourselves for those. I can only provide a theatre in which they canbe discussed. :uh-huh:

I think BMT is as good a place as any for it for now. At least we know where it is - and as Sam suggested, have our photos taken with it :)

I was just concerned that it had vanished (along with the copy of GT3).

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
