I drive like a Granny on the street, rarely sees 4000rpm, although a dude in a Honda thingie YO was wanting to run me down the Cumberland Hwy, f**king dick wad, my wheel nuts have more torque than his motor.

yeah they seemed to do the job though.

it kept breaking engine mounts so in the end a lump of thick chain was welded round the mount and chassis.

LOL Thats great, Aussie engineering at its best haha :D

Finally swapped out the chinee cooler for a trust item and went back on the dyno.

Boost is way more stable power is up slightly to around 430 rwkw's and the power curve is all sorts of awesome.

Will throw a pic of the graph up when someone around here does it for me.

Keen to see the graph, what power did it make with the cheap cooler?

how much did the boost change?

Not much less but the power was getting worse as time went by. Massive pressure drop across the cooler jst kept getting worse so we ditched it. Last time we measured it it was losing about 6lb from turbo side to tb side.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
