GTScotT
I think I know what sort of setup I would chase in a GTR. that neo VCT head is magic. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/251820-got-over-400kw-atw/page/104/#findComment-6442087 Share on other sites
SimonR32
Head has had chambers slighty modified to lower compression (9.5:1) but otherwise stock with drop in poncams. Comparison with mine shows it's very good, mind you cost vs performance I would be ahead Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/251820-got-over-400kw-atw/page/104/#findComment-6442208 Share on other sites

Lithium
Comparison with mine shows it's very good, mind you cost vs performance I would be ahead Yours does very good for the price, but given that it has more power absolutely everywhere and your turbo is nearer its limit than the GT35R is - your statement is very very subjective. SimonR32
Yep meant exhaust.. Twin scroll? Nah single Yours does very good for the price, but given that it has more power absolutely everywhere and your turbo is nearer its limit than the GT35R is - your statement is very very subjective. It's the internet I didn't know I had to be objective haha It was more a warning to others that if you slap a GT3582R onto a standard RB25 and/or a RB25 neo (even with poncams) you are not going to get within coooeee of RRob's result for response or power. Lithium
Not as much response /power definitely, definitely. I don't agree with though power, especially assuming thats on E85.... 440+kw @ hubs on a stock RB25 with cams with a GT3582R on E85 isn't a huge shock.
