Just wondering for those of you who have gone through Nissan finance to purchase your 35 gtr, what deal did they give you and what are your repayments?

Also curious if any of you guys are doing a finance lease and for the accountants in the forum, how would you need to set up your business so you could write your car payments off at tax time?

I am out of the country at the moment and the nissan sales reps dont seem to take you very seriously unless you come down in person,

Cheers

No one could match Medfin for car finance in my quotes, 6% no hidden fees.

If you purchase before June 30 with a chattel mortgage you can take advantage of the govt's 30% rebate for business equipement up to the luxury car tax threshhold (I think that is 57k) so ? 7-8k or so better off up front for business use assuming about 90% usage business

I'm no accountant though so better get it checked out for yourself.

try this online lease calculator.

http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm

there is other info required to work out the cost so I've left it for you to do.

I lease equipment and a car from medfin, but I was under the impression they lent to health professionals only.

correct I passed that info on via a PM, but have listed the 6.0% for a comparison for what its worth. Every trick you can pull out of your bag in negotiating loans is worth a shot! I do realise that car leases have less room for maneuvering though.

Do nissan provide a financing service where you can lease the car? I don't know much about this field at all. I was reading the other thread and did a calculation and somehow i ended up with 1,000 a month. And if thats the case, I will get one! Unless I stuffed up along the way.

Yes Nissan can do a finance lease. I dont know i it's through Nissan exactly, but the finance manager in any dealership shoul dbe able to help you out.

If you have excel, try this formula:

=PMT(0.06/12,36,-150000,150000*0.4)

0.06 = the interest rate

36 = the number of payments (months)

-150000 = the amount financed

150000*0.4 = residual

It should give you a good estimate on the monthly payments

(obviously plug in your numbers as appropriate)

I've been looking for finance for a Stagea but I can't find any companies that are willing. (Outside of personal loans).

My financial product preference is for a Chattel Mortgage through our company. I'm not interested in a personal loan.

Since I don't work in the medical industry that rules out medfin.

I'll contact Nissan finance but was wondering if anyone had suggestions of other companies to try?

Thanks.

    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
