very shamful to admit....but my missus drives a Honda civic with a SPORTIVO sticker on the back...

yes, uyes, sad, but she does...and i occasionally have to drive it also, fluffy toys and all.

i guess my 250rkw 32 makes up for it ;)

Saw this in northern China recently. Modified cars and sports cars are extremely rare in China as the rich people mainly focus on luxury/prestige brands. Thought I'd share. Sorry for the low-res iphone pic, but the badges say BMW M3. The bodykit is probably something some guy knocked up in his garage. The exhaust pays homage to the 100kw under the hood lol.

The base car is called a Brilliance BS4. I think the name says it all.

I thought the previous car was a gem, but this one takes the cake. Can't believe I forgot I had this on my phone. Once again, in China.

Even though I have no idea what the base car is, he's probably tripled its value with the bodykit and stickers.

Note the TRD, Citreon, Honda Type-R and Nissan GT-R decals. I know China's the home of rice but this is a bit too far lol.

Spotted a beast of an Hyundai Excel of the Calder Fwy out near Sunbury on Tuesday night.

Dark blue, fully kitted up with bonnet scoops, gauges including oversize rpm gauge. If the iphone could take a decent pic I would have one, but thats obviously not the case.

I was VERY impressed. I'm surprised the guy/girl could get the car rolling with all that extra weight.

there is a saab which ive spotted many times driving down bell street which is green with bright baby blue racing stipes and a v8 twin turbo sticker on the side and a massive baby blue spoiler and a huge SAAB sticker on the front window

from what i saw it was a business man driving the car.. so i guess his midlife crisis may have sent him a little crazy...

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
