i lost my license for a year and 3 months and i was driving a commodore (lol) got 20's exhaust and its lowered neva got pulled over not once.

i think there is a new law, if they catch u with the same mod more than once ull get a BIG fine

Hey bud,

I was in the same boat as you about 6 months ago except the GTR I bought was a bit rough around the edges and had quite a lot of defect-able items (the usual blow off valves, loud exhaust, pod filters, too low bla bla bla)

I put a lot of effort into making it legal over several months and I don't have any issues whatsoever (I'm from the Knox area lol).

Is it worth it? Getting home and seeing that beast smiling in your driveway is like nothing else!

Drive responsibly and you'll have no problems mate, you should come down to an SAU meet so we can see it

ive had 2 r34 GTT's one for 11 months, and 6 months and have never been pulled over in them. and i was a P plater for 6 months with my first one... exhaust, pods, FMIC and one had a hks ssq bov for a little while...

i recon it all depends on time, place and how you drive around busy areas..

Yes it really is that bad in some areas. They know the cars and love to pull them over. If you're pulled over by the right kind of TMU and you have mods, they will find them trust me. I never drove like a cock and I got pulled over many times but it saying that, I'm south east suburbs. Apparently the cops are not as bad up in the West and North but those areas are pretty dumpy anyhow so they brobably don't bother (joke)

cops out west crack a fat when an import comes through... especially through williamstown/altona some cops i know even say the tmu around their would defect their own parents.. so dont know when you last came over the bridge but they are pretty defect happy out this way

just do whatever you want, keep stock parts and keep in mind your WILL get defected its just a matter of time and you'll be set.

Why is it that people who've never been pulled over for a bullshit reason seem to believe you'll be sweet as long as you drive sedately and don't over-modify the vehicle?
