MBS206
I'm liking this VERY MUCH! Let me know how you find the new turbo, as I want to pull my turbo + mani off soon and replace it with a bit of a smaller turbo, purely to bring boost on sooner... Thinking a GT3076 or GT3540... (On the 3L) That's if it holds together on Thursday! Throw that idea in the bin. 2... Sell me your 25 head and forward facing plenum. 3... You go buy a 26dett head. 4... 5... No profit, but lots of win... As for my turdbro... Ignore my engine bay, as LOTS has changed since this pic... zebra
that is rather large, looks like a td-07 or 08? I would love a 26 head, but that would mean changind just about everything i have lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/280635-zebras-2010-mra-gts-t-build/page/4/#findComment-5051683 Share on other sites

zebra
nah i wish lol they are just cast replacments from precision, i just like cleaning every thing up, as rough edges are more prone to breakage than smooth ones, just have to careful not to take too much weight off a single piston compared to the rest. Noddy
you know that a 26 head is an easier fit. no block mods needed Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/280635-zebras-2010-mra-gts-t-build/page/4/#findComment-5055038 Share on other sites
zebra
yeah, its somthing to consider, but changinf to a 26 head would be a $5k + exersize, by the time i buy a head, turbo's, dump pipes, new injectors etc etc. So im happy to stick with the 25 head and pay a few bucks to have the water gallery welded up and delete VCT Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/280635-zebras-2010-mra-gts-t-build/page/4/#findComment-5055235 Share on other sites

MBS206
you know that a 26 head is an easier fit. no block mods needed Actually, the 26 head needs the head studs tapped out bigger in the block. The 25 requires a touch of weld and hey presto, bobs your uncle.
