wat kind of power gains will i notice if im chucking this on, plus catco high flow cat (the 175 dollar version from just jap) and belmouth front/dump pipe (couldn't find a split pipe for r34gtt for some reason?)

everything else is stock, stock boost - no boost controller yet

got it baby!

i was looking at then getting these two items to complete the exhaust:

wat do you guys reckon? remember this is just for street, i don't want nothing crazy crazy, as u can tell im just at the beginner stages of doin minor mods to my street vehicle

there is an xforce stainless steel cat for the same price as the catco one but i herd catco is a more reliable brand so yeh...

is there any disadvantage to getting the belmouth front/dump pipe over a split style verson front/dump pipe? couldn't find one that was for r34gtts...

The only adcantage the bellmouth has, is that they dont make splits for R34's :)

Personally, from experience i would stay away from the split type anyway. No end of trouble with boost creep, had to mod the wastegate pipe to clear the wastegate flapper, then removing the thing was a 6 hour exercise with a blow torch. Destroyed my 02 sensor thread too. Wouldnt risk it again!

Have seen a few of the bellmouth ones. They seem to work great.

have the HKS Silent Hi-Power and JJR dump on my GTT. Love it. You won't get a deep burble around town like it's a rexxy but it's also almost legal and not over the top at all (rated at 92dB)

as for power ... it all depends really, i'd say 10-20rwkw extra with no other mods as it flows much better than the stock system

Blitz Nur Spec R FTW! I teamed this up with a JJR bellmouth front/dump and a catco hiflow cat and couldn't be happier :P Great looking exhaust and the sound is hawt. I have no mechanical experience and I didn't have too much trouble installing the system myself. Useful hint though, get yourself a socket set (1/2in or 3/8in driver if you don't have one already), lots of WD40 and a 6 pack, coz those dump nuts are a c to get off lol.

If ur number one objective is queit than yes the kakimato but be warned they have a 2.5inch welded in restrictor in d cannon so yeah if you want performance first i wouldnt buy it. I regret buying it as i ended up cutting the restrictor out as was losing piwer and after that no longer quiet.

Since I upgraded my turbo and cat, my HKS Silent Power is so much louder. I love this exhaust to bits, the way it sound the growl is like the angriest tiger you will ever hear. At idle/cruising in 5th sure it might be legal but lol there is no way in f**k stick this exhaust is legal at stand still with a rev. I would have went HKS, Ive heard both exhausts and prefer HKS. Ive also got the JJR bellmouth dump.

As for installing your self, yeah I wouldn't pay someone to do this job.

HKS has a little hot dog thing in the middle.

That cat is good but its ceramic. You've spent a fair penny on a brand new exhaust, may as well get a metalcat or even a venom metal cat. Ive got the venom 5" body 100cpsi cat on my car. Shall see how it goes when I get the car back.

I'm running -7 turbos, r34 gtr dump pipes/stainless front pipes/3" decat

Just deciding between the hks silent and kaki regu.

I must admit the hi power silent at wide open throttle sounds Porn ! But I realy do love the look of the kaki regu and build quality, plus the pipes are straighter which should give more power..

They come with a restrictor in the cannon from the factory ??

I never knew that !

Yeah no one does know it until you accidently stumble across it or see pics. I had a thread somewhere showing all the pics of it and how I removed it etc so in my opinion the kaki regu 06 is just a cheap lie in regards to good flowing exhuast with minimal noise when as a matter a fact its just that welded in silencer thats doing all the sound reduction, but in saying that once you take the restrictor out its a great exhuast flow wise and sounds great even though it probably isnt the queit exhuast you would expect now. So what I learned was there is no cheap way of high flowing exhuast while being quiet unless your going to go for $3000 system like racepace will make.

Theres 2 types of HKS HI-Power Silent...

1 = Mild steel with big resonator, stainless cannon (quiet)

2 = Stainless steel with hotdog resonator, stainless cannon (fairly audible)

In any case, I went custom cause I got the sound I level I was after..

J-Rad does your Kak regu have the silencer in the cannon? or did you remove it?

10-4, the one on the justjap website is the 95mm stainless one, and it has a big oval resonator and cannon at back?

i got a kaki regu on my car, make over 300kw with it so not restriction so far. see how it gose when i put my -5s on. i dont think my cannon has a silencer in it.....

i really think the sounds of your exhaust also comes down to your cams, dumps, and front pipes aswell... the sounds change quite abit when changing these items, so somtime you mite here someones car and think it sounds awesome...... so you think you can just go buy the same catback and bam youll have the same... most of the time thats not the case... just a heads up

    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
