I take it they have some sort of 1 for 1 share offer going on at the moment?

If I had NAB shares I'd be buying as many 1 for 1's as I could and flogging off the existing expensive ones...for that share price is going to drop once they are issued.

The NAB SPP specifically states that the offer isn't transferable.... but we don't know what your doing so we can't say if it's illegal :D

I've applied for the full amount, think i'll be lucky to get 1/3.

What do you recon Daniel?

pretty sure it's 1 to 20 issue and capped at a max of $15K for which you'd need to be currently holding $300K of shares... which of course prevents people trying to profiteer of other retail investors without the capital to take up the SPP unless you can sign up a lot of naive people. and ferni said they stipulate it's not transferable which would usually be the case anyway.

I'm not a NAB shareholder so it doesn't worry me either way but if you are read the offer carefully. :D

wasn't planning on transferring anything.

i didn't see a 1-for-anything mentioned. I'm 99% it was like ANZ, $15K and that's it.

To answer your question Ferni, your guess it as good as mine  But food for though, ANZ ended up raising about $2.1 Bill Gates, waaay more than they actually planned on raising. The board made the decision to accept all applications, which was good. So there has been a bit of a precedent set by one of the big four, which could very well end up seeing NAB follow suit. It also seems NAB is very acquisition happy at the moment, and as this SPP will be way over subscribed, perhaps they'll take all they can get. Time will tell.

Unfortunately, couldn't get anything going other than the parents, so good luck Ferni, let's hope for a limited (if any) scale back.

Yeah there is defiantly no 1:1 in this. As long as you are a share holder you get to apply for the full amount (15K) minus anything you picked up in the last SPP.

As for NAB taking all they can get, if this happens then it will effect the share price i suspect.... we'll see in just over a week...

there is some info here on it. not sure how accurate or not it is but it may answer some of your speculation.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
