Very, very close to where I had my accident, and the cyclist was travelling in the same direction I was. Makes my stomach churn just thinking about it. RIP to the biker :)

+1

That section of road is rubbish. Had a mate go down probably that same corner too. We had to use a car to remove his bike from being wedged into the guard rail. He was busted up pretty bad, but nothing life threatening.

Does anyone know how to fit a lift kit to a hilux?

I'm sure I could do it myself, but I've never done it before and rather someone who's done it before help out :)

please help so I can fit some 35" tread!!!

suspension lift kye? if so it'll be easy as

spring and shock are normally separate, so its just a case of out with the old in with the new

Anywhere in Adelaide that will service/diagnose some Cusco coilovers that are knocking?

So far I've tried Manta but they didn't want to touch them.

Pillow ball mounts are stuffed....get rid of them.

Rubber mounts are fine for the street and occasional track work (and much quieter)....unless it's a track car, why bother with those things.

best way to remove battery corrosion?

soapy water and a rag?

baking soda and warm water in a small cup , into a paste then spread on corrosion, rinse with fresh water, but DO NOT get into open cells where you fill water

think you meant distilled water weezy ? it goes inside the battery

i gotta do my whole boot :D

mix it in a sprayer a lot thinner it should bubble a lot then rinse with cool fresh water then dry,,,, any thick corrosion use a toothbrush or soft scrubber..

have fun...lol

PS it eats clothes slowly so do it with old crappy ones

only cost a few bucks to do it, look in the baking isle for baking soda

    • You still want a proper tune on the stock ECU though. Stock tune + stock ECU with GT-SS/-9s is probably playing with fire if you're running more than stock airflow/power.
    • I like their veal scallopini.
    • Definitely a hearty eater when we go out, I consider these meals my cheat day as I've been watching my calories in and calories out pretty hard since my little fun size stroke, I've gone from a fat boy of 89 Kg, I'm only 165cm tall/short, down to a almost semi lean 73 Kg over the last few years, I'm currently around 17% body fat which my doctor is very happy with, but, my goal is to slowly get down to and maintain 15%,so yeah, I want all of the protein, carbs, fats and sugars when I go out for a binge
    • There was a great one on Victoria Rd in Gladesville too back in the day. I can only assume GTSBoy is thinking of the mill up on the wollondilly, no restaurant there any more but they have restored the original steam engine on site and run it every few months, have an annual steampunk festival etc @The Bogan, you came to the wrong town for restaurants. we have a few reasonable asian and indian options but the Paragon is as good as it gets otherwise. That brewery is apparently just opened, been meaning to give it a go some time. The Highlands have plenty of fancy options but I suspect you are more a hearty eater than fancy eater
