Anyone Else Not Got A Garage/covered Car Port?

I wish my apartment had at least a covered car port.

I've had my 33 in the elements since I got it a few weeks back...

...and at work there is nothing.

It's not so much the rain as the UV. So I feel bad about it.

My car is in pretty good nick compared to many of the 33's I seen about and I would like to keep it that way.

I've got a car cover now but feel (and look) like a douche putting it on and off and it's a lot of effort.

Haha nah, I have a covered carport, and a garage thats apparently big enough for one car, I doubt it and its always been full of too much shit to throw the Ceffy in there. I use my car as storage, and the shed to store shit like bumpers, dash, fender, that are all out at the moment. More concerened about people stealing my shit, not exactly easy to find some things. Would be nice to be able to use the garage, means less time finding tools and work light each night, packing up, means Im not under pressure to have shit back on the car before I go to bed either, I can just lock the door and know its safe.

I'd guess putting a cover on it would make it more appealing to people wanting to boost shit?

I remember a few years ago a buddy of mine - who owned an Aston martin and a e-type jag - went away to work overseas and on returning found a shelf in his garage had collapsed and put some dents in the jag. lol

Anyway my parking area is secure, its not like it's on the street.

I dont have one either, been like that for 2+ years . I try to clay bar at least once a year and wax about 3 times a year to give it that extra protection

also using the car cover in direct sunlight can foul your paint up so be careful.

We've got a big f**koff shade sail out the back. a double car port won't work on account of the fact we've got 9 cars in the same drive way.

proper garage goes to *gasp* a BA GT! *continues sob story* well, that car belonged to my uncle may he rest in peace, and so sayeth his will that his sister my mother received his house AND car. And, since it hasn't been driven in two months, a deep sadness within compels me to steal it. and drive it. then put it back.

My car cover blew off last night...quite embarrassing. Now it's secured with two ropes.

The R33 is slightly too big for the medium sized cover and way too small for the large cover. So with the medium sized cover 'cos it's not stretched over the car 100%, a bit of wind will get under it and dislodge it on one end, then the whole thing slides off.

Need to get a flat with a car port or buy a proper house with a garage etc.

See lots of bunky looking cars around Perth damaged by UV. Don't want my car being like that.
