well i was looking for a rb30 block and crank and found this web site

$550 aud for a complete USED short block

and shipping by sea is $305usd to Canada.

anyone heard of these guys ? where are they located ?

have not heard of them but sounds like a good service. the engines here cost $200 complete so i guess once you factor in labor, packing and administration its a very reasonable solution.

i used to throw them in the scrap bin...now ive seen a little of the 'dark side' i enquired and got 4 whole engines and 2 short blocks given to me by my machinist as he used to run a commodore spares shop and was throwing them out.

Either of the short blocks or whole engines in good nick?

They are all in excellent order...removed from running vehicles and well stored.

was going to keep at least 4 of them for race engines.

Bought my block from them, not a problem at all, very nice and helpful guys!

Not even a problem having it shipped on a pallet halfway around the world, since i live in Sweden

My last RB30E cost me $100 and I even made the guy strip it down for me as I only wanted the rods and crank and he was machining the crank for me anyway!

I bought a whole wrecked VL (T-bone) for $75. Sold the gear box and suspension for $75..

Free RB30 for me!

well for me ..who lives across the world. and in Canada we don't have RB30.

paying $500 isn't really for the motor, it is for his SERVICE in FINDING. PACKING, SHIPPING

which i think is worth it !!
