Which Way Does The Exhaust Gasket Go On?

Got one of these gaskets....

Theres 7 pieces in this. The one large gasket with 6 holes and then there is 6 individual gasket pieces for each exhaust port.

Now do these individual pieces go on the inside (between the head and larger gasket) or the outside?

To be honest i wouldn't use them. In my case the above ones fail hard. Nothing beats the original gasket from nissan.

thats different... i'd put the 1 piece on the head then the singles onthe exhaust mani side...

Go buy a genuine nissan exhaust gasket. Much better, and it's all as one piece with those "little" bits attached.

And they're not expensive either.

dam ive already brought it, do you think it will be ok considering im running stock turbo and only 10psi?

I reckon you use either the single or the 6, but not both.

Not expensive my ass. Theyre like $96 odd from nissan so its not cheap.

But having said that its the best thing you can use.

Have you pulled your manifold off yet? When you do just have a look which way all the pieces fit together.

The factory ones are in 7 pieces too but theyre an assembly.

My head gasket cost me $110.

My last exhaust gasket cost me $60...

Don't know who you pissed off at Nissan, but they don't seem to like you and reflect it in price...

Also, mine have to get shipped out of Melbourne at that price too...
