yeah I can't believe webber would intentionally position his car hoping for an accident. that's just nuts and suicidal. I doubt there is a driver on the grid who would do that. well maybe schuey would...

I'm not saying what I think he was doing. I'm just saying what I saw. He holds it on full lock to go back across the track. why? I don't know, but saying he was trying to continue racing after slapping into a concrete wall by swerving back across the track into the path of other cars makes far less sence than Berger's theory.

besides, drivers think they are bulletproof. And I think Mark has enough mongrel in him to play a bit of dirty pool when the situation calls for it.

If you look at the reverse camera angle, as in the one pointing down the track behind the cars coming out of the corner that Webz spun at. You can see that after he had hit the wall, and was rolling back, his front right wheel was inches off the ground. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but I think that contact donald ducked his suspension.. If so, I am curious as to why he didn't put the skids on... :)

You can stay but expect a bit of residual Hamilton is a douche sentiment around here.

Being considered a douche is a big improvement on the consensus a couple of seasons ago.

Nah everyone still thinks he's a f**king flamin mongrel.

Berger is farken clown in this case who just hasn't had his name in the press for a week!

so like... a million times this?

It's one thing I've noticed about the bugger... once every 2 months or so, go against the grain to have forums like us talk his shit up...

bo-ring...

He's just said he doesn't get to dock with Vettel anymore.

He's like Columbo (but without the charm)- Just when you think he's gone, he comes back for an unsolicited encore

I'll open the champers if he gets the A at the end of this season, and yet he'll likely still be gridding up courtesy of a bottom-feeder team come 2011

Well, not long now until practice is underway...and there are reports of rain for quali. I really think the elements mean that RBR are less likely to get the win...ans also bad news for those hoping for an engine failure for Alonso. Only good think is Webz normally pips Vettel in wet quali so here is hoping

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
