rh1n0
Get the car unlocked somehow, get to the boot release and win! Call RACV if you don't wanna break anything. Just be prepared to wait a loooong time. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/301392-help-left-keys-in-the-boot/#findComment-5004222 Share on other sites
Priestley
Get a locksmith to open the car for you and then use the boot release to get the keys back. Might be expensive today. rh1n0
Frameless windows are relatively easy to pry the window away from the door to get something down there to unlock the door from the inside. At least it looked that way when I had my keys locked in the car. ^_^ Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/301392-help-left-keys-in-the-boot/#findComment-5004234 Share on other sites
beRwick_GTRage
take out the back of the rear seat and unbolt the plate which is behind it. this should get you to your keys thats if your doors arnt locked and the boot release doesn't work (which is the problem i had) Edited December 25, 2009 by beRwick_GTRage Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/301392-help-left-keys-in-the-boot/#findComment-5004266 Share on other sites
Spunky Munky
All of the above should work. Be more careful next time or buy yourself an alarm with boot release. wAAA`
haha well... doors are locked, boot release wont work and as for sticking something through the window seal, yes stuff fits but i cant seem to find a hard enough stick to push the door lock open so I've given up for the day! rh1n0
Yeah it's not the easiest thing in the world. Luckily with my car, if you pull the handle on the driver's door while locked it will unlock. So it gave us a bigger target to work with. htial
I had the guys at Chaddy car wash lock the keys in the ignition... ...The only thing I can think of is they hit the car with a really strong spray of water and it locked itself down... ...I've never ever had it happen to me... ...I'm just glad that it also shut the engine off... ...Screwed up their work for about an hour while I got the second set from my parents...
