rotas are common in the us.. but yeh sleek is where its at i think that car is perfect if i had an evo it'd look like that

At least but a boot lip or a roof spoiler...

I guess I am just use to seeing EVO's with big ass OEM spoilers which looks tuff as anyway.

evo drivers in oz amuse me. they're either asians who have watched a bit too much initial D, or white boys who are WRC fans. the ironic bit is that both stereotypes are so protective of their precious cars that they won't take it hillclimbing etc and sit there stressing about a chip on the paintwork.

fuck off you sandy vagina'd poser douchebags. your car is not the fucking automotive messiah, it's a fucking lancer with a turbo and an extra LSD. you don't have fucking active yaw control so that you can better negotiate roundabouts. drive it like it was meant to be driven or give it here and walk to your fucking knitting lessons or book clubs or whatever fuck you ballbagless eunuchs seem to like doing for fun.

Sig worthy!

:ninja:

Yeah the can looks tuff as the concave looks quiet aggressive.

I think depending on the offset for the TE37's and the actual diametre size of the wheel you get.

18" and up on TE37's you start to get a bit more concave as well.

I don't mind Rota Grids, only cos I know they're manufactured to specs given to them by a guy I know who tracks on them regularly. He's a structural engineer kent, so he knows his shit.

I tossed up between GTCs and TE37s but like said above TE37s are talked about a lot and used a lot especially on Skylines which is why I went the GTCs both my favourite rims though :ninja:

I dont really like meshies or rims that are to 'busy' like my rims on my NA, they just came with the car meh.

Rotas look ok.. but just was scared about all the stories.

this was the wheel you always wanted for the evo wasn't it?

yeh in 18x9.5 +20

17s look shit, to small

Cuz they are one of the best wheels ever!

:ninja:

Nick get TE37's.

rota grids

18x9.5 +20

they're rotas?

yeh

lol the rota's look better imo. more concave

yeh and considering that you pay $1k for a set of 18s from vision R its 4 times cheaper than a set of te37s in the same size/offset and they have better concave still

I don't mind Rota Grids, only cos I know they're manufactured to specs given to them by a guy I know who tracks on them regularly. He's a structural engineer kent, so he knows his shit.

yeah they track them in US hardcore

can even get 17s in them now but only 17x9 +25 or 17x9.5 +30

if i got rotas would need to be at least 18x9.5 +20 cause it just clears the brembos

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
