:D cant be THAT loud... yeah mostly use my car for weekends nowdays definately not daily

if i get a decent offer why not

Aaah, was just gonna say, now that you're selling, you'd probably be looking to sell those 350z wheels too yes yes ;)

size of exhaust/pressure?

can someone tell me would there be a benefit of rego'in my 33 in QLD since my sister moved there so i have address etc to prevent headahces down here or just internet bs and its pointless?

serious question kents.

It works the other way around, cos QLD's police database system is like in the 90's still. Nga's dealing with faxes n shit. For real.

VIC cops on the other hand will shaft you regardless of where your car is rego'd. Esp if you have a VIC license.

Can I post you a HDD for the movies? :D

Give me $20, and make sure there is a return/paid for envelop and i will.

It'll probably tie my server up for a day transferring 2TB to a shitty portable drive lol :(

you wanna send a HDD in the mail?

like an HDD with cylinders and heads and moving platters?

the type that fuck up if there's too much vibrations?

vibrations like a parcel tumbling through the postal system?

you're a fuckin genius.

wanna send me some money so I can free up some nigerian assets for you?

How about if i send you a internal hdd? I've got a empty 2tb that's just sitting in my computer.

That would speed up the time. (:

It wont speed it up much at all.

My RAID array is fast, but a single HDD maxes out @ around 30meg a sec write speed on a fast 7200rpm drive (F1 or Caviar black)

Anything else, is slower - I've tried LOL.

Most normal HDD's are roughly 20-24meg/sec full write

WD Caviar Black 2 TB

Environmental Specifications

Shock

Operating Shock (Read) 30G, 2 ms

Non-operating Shock 300G, 2 ms

surely it won't exceed 300G's in the post?

all it takes is prolonged vibration for a parked head to come loose and run all over the platter essentially destroying it.

you reckon australia post will only shake the crap out of your HDD for 2 milliseconds at a time?

You think Hard drive companies hand deliver each drive individually to retailers?

I've had hard drives posted to me, never had an issue.

What kind of headlights do you guys all have?

I've got those Phillips blue crystalvision or diamondvision or some shit. They look really blue, but aren't particularly bright lol. Looking for a change soon.

i have these but the white ones, no blue.... is niiice

so no benefits for me to rego it in qld, that sucks.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
