Really? That's a course I was looking at studying now actually. A guy I know just graduated last year from the courseand now he spends all day thrashing around new holdens on the track.

You didn't like the course?

my bro does that he works at holden too

i lost all interest by the end of 2nd year and didnt bother with it anymore. spent all 3rd year playing pool at the cafe.

also auto engineer harder to get a job once you graduate

Enter score means sweet f**k all anyway. I got the highest in my school and I now paint houses for a living lol. So much emphasis placed on a score which is hardly the truest indicator of future success.

Good indicator of how motivated and hardworking one is i think. The fact you did well and now paint houses for a living isn't an indictment on the system, more a reflection on you :P

99.55 over hurr

I got 65.10 and was up for 36 hours partying before one of my exams...I fell asleep during it too...Was getting a tattoo in the lead-up to my English exam...

My mate who we didn't see for 3-4 weeks before exams because he was locked away studying got something like 67, and he was a bit of a book worm/nerd, doing specialist maths etc...

I just finished a pre-app, trying to get an apprenticeship as a sparky now....I'm 25 in Jan.

Before I signed up for the pre-app I was worried I'd be in a class of 17 year olds...My class of 10 had me, 2-3 22 year olds, a 25 year old, a 35 year old and 49 year old...then a few 18/19 year olds...

Like I said, an enter score is not the truest indicator of future success. I am living proof of this lol. Having said that, I do have a degree under my belt...and a really big penis...that keeps me happy.

That's actually a bit of a relief. The funny thing is, I studied urban planning because I couldn't find an electrical apprenticeship. Sort of fell into it. Now i've got the degree I wouldn't mind going back to be a sparky haha.

Lesson to all the young ones out there = Think long and hard (that's what she said) about what you want to do with your life and don't rush it! f**k!

    • For race cars, this is one part where I find having the roll cage bar having gone through a hole in the floor better than the build it up on a ledge inside... The Merc I help on, the main hoop ends are marked on the car, and the jack is marked... Jack goes under a few inches and lifts one whole side of the car up... Removes that fight for long slim jacks for race car duties!   My biggest issue for the daily drivers I work on, is my jacks don't go high enough. The jacks start out on a few blocks, jack it up, then start a second jack under it on more blocks, and then I can get an axle stand under it. My axle stands are presently in use, and are nearly fully extended. The car is sitting with barely more than a cm of clearance to get the wheel off the studs! Sarah's Kluger is the same, as it has an ungodly amount of droop available in the suspension and a distinct lack of good jacking points!
    • Happy? Yep, my to do list is getting shorter and shorter. Either this light approaching is the end of the tunnel, or I'm about to be hit by a train... Ha ha ha   Also, Duncan isn't that far out of town that you need to make a multi day drive out of it. 😛
    • Sorry I meant that we are building the EH for a client.
    • LOL, when one "money pit" is never enough Noice, and excellent work mate
    • I have more than enough digging, laying blocks, moving gravel, airrating, feeding and top soiling the grass, and setting up the veggie gardens growing some seedlings,  and then removing all the unused rock to keep me busy for the next few months at least,  hopefully the rain stops soon so I can get a few hours in this arvo, but, before that Sunday is washing day, is every body happy, you bet your life we are Nice country road day drives are a day off whenever I'm muscle sore from all the landscaping at the moment, but, more epic multiple day drives will start once the majority of the big jobs outside are completed
