i think i spotted you on dalton road yesterday, i was in the territory, rd p plates and personal plates

Yep, would have been me if it was around 2-3ish. My '33 has black wheels now. Was coming home from the parental's house in Preston. Temperature was so hot that me and the old man left work early for the day.

Didn't see you dude : (

$200 and you get 2nd one for free, alternatively, make an reasonable offer and you still get 2nd one for free.

haha ill take the 2nd one for my rb20dett O_o

Does it come with the holding bracket?

On another note; This is pretty cool if you want to free up space.

Yes both actuators does have holding brackets.

I actually thinking of buying this console so I can grab aftermarket gauges and place them on centre console and replace my a/c and heater panel which is semi-working.

Has anybody had any success using injector cleaner in the past?

I'm trying to eliminate a bit of a rough idle. Car has new coil packs but still isn't 100% on idle, especially when cold.

280rwkw. Everything hidden. Been pulled over atleast 5 times since it was built and Bonnet popped. Cop never found a thing :)

What turbo is it currently strapping to side of the 25?

Nope -7 and -9 (aka GT-SS) aren't the same, slighty different compressor wheel. -9 without EBC spools nice and early than -7 with EBC.

I wonder what would happen if I whacked EBC in my old 33 GTR and have it set up aggressively, I'd never know.

Yeah, the specs are not that far off from each other, but yeah I see where you are coming from.

Try living in Knox/Rowville area where Pettit advises all the Highway patrol people on what to look for ~_~

edit: didnt you get an EPA as soon as you got the car tuned?

whats the issue? Always stuck on blowing hot air?

Ambident temp won't stay on, a/c was working fine until some twat took the gas out to replace the heater system, etc...

So tempted to set it on fire.

That EPA was when I got pulled over before the car was built. Sent it in to get built and it was almost finished then got EPA in mail. Was costly but did have a atmo

Bov and 2 intakes n shit. Not anymore

Feel sorry for you Knox boys

AMB Temps only show for a few seconds and then turn off (in R32's).

Get the A/C re-gassed.

What useless piece of junk.

Still saying I shouldv'e bought a R33...

LOL!

Are you going to be staring at the AMB Temps as you drive..?

It's just to give an indication of how cold / hot it is outside...

^^ Yep!

haha why would you need to know the temperature every second? :P

Cuz Grant complains about stupid shit

Grant don't worry about it!

You complain about your R33 and now your R32, just sell it and by a R34 GTR :D

    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
    • Thanks for the replies everyone. Definitely a coolant push. Oil catch can is empty and always has been. As the engine is out now I'll be having a good look over things. I do have some detonation on the piston tops from a trigger issue back about 5 years ago. I felt it and shut off then bought a new ecu and changed the trigger. Never been an issue since. It never hurt the power, its made almost 80hp more since that incident but I will pull the bearing caps to take a look. If the bearings are damaged I will do a bottom end refresh. Head is being re conditioned at the moment and the block will be cleaned and checked to ensure it's flat. I'll go with a kameari gasket and see how it ends up. The other thing I'm not super keen on is the cylinder colours. I suspect this is from the inlet manifold. The plan will be to put it back together, retune and then stick a plazmaman billet inlet on it and retune. I'm happy with the power, if it makes a little more, then great, but I would rather just make everything more efficient at this stage.
    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
