Haha kk mate. Let's put it this way. No cars on the hwy could beat us. The car is bloody ridiculous. Joshs forum name is CR34M

Don't plan on beating you (I'd set it on fire before doing anything smart), shall PM him.

make sure your promo pack includes lube.

lol wouldn't you want to know what pressure the actuator is rated at first? also, why not just buy a garett actuator? same shit, just a rod attached to a diapragm.

saw his forsale thread which mentioned the pressure rating. Easier to hassle through wasteland.

Been in talks with GCG regarding garett actuators. If i can get a second hand hks for cheaper, that would be better!

pat- my aircons blowing hot air..

The plug which connects the blend-door servo motor is playing up. Pushing it to the left/right should improve the connection. Its located right behind the headunit. I pulled mine out and rebuilt it (resoldered all the connections etc)

dw, found some pics that pat posted

If you rip it out from behind the dash, my dad can fix it for you. (Owns a tv/electrical repair business)

Fixing problems down to a component level is a dieing skill :(

Now its all about replacing full boards which cost $600+

tried the over ride that shan highlighted last night, wasnt cool air, or does the servo still play a part?

it relates.

Stick your head near the passenger footwell and find the plug/metal rod as seen in my pictures. Then move the temperature up/down and see if the rod moves. If it doesnt, jiggle the plug and repeat. See if it moves.

The override means the rod swings all the way to cold position, but if there isnt a proper connection it aint going to move anyways

going to repco to check out their 20% off sale. anything worth getting?

actually might pick up some spark plugs n oils shiz.

got my collated coil nail gun and started using it to do some racking in the garage... man the shit's lethal, at 120psi it fires the nail into hardwood so hard that it rebates it 3mm into the wood. gotta dial it down to 90psi for flushness.

just got back from Anglesea/Lorne tuff weekend. sleeping with foxes, hand sized spiders and all kinds of insects was fun. nice to be back to a clean home with a comfy bed

license back in 3 days

I got mine now. burn, although, family courier driver FTL :/

Pat- got the connections working, swung to cold but no cold. Gonna get It regassed when I go to work/ no longer poor :D

    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
