But it's an import. mine got rejected for being an import.

How do the ca's go?

ohh bot = not. lol pwnt. but anyways, all CA's are imports.

In fact, I'm pretty sure all S14's and S15's sold in oz are turbos. all the N/A are imports.

I'm 99% certain they put "Its cos it's an import" cos they couldn't legally put "it's cos you're arab" on your rejection.

ah yeah, true that, don't have to apply for exemption for that shiz.

CA18DE is gutless as fuck tho. As is SR20DE, RB20DE's not that bad cos you can rev it high all day every day and have good bottom end torque (being an i6), but SR and CA are both gutless down low and only good revving high. Oh and stock SR's tend to shit themselves when constantly revved high.

I'd buy an NA R33 if I were you. RB25DE is a good engine for an N/A. Just harden up and put up with the R33 body shell.

Failing that find an R32 GTS25, but good luck, they're few and far between.

Orrr... find a R32 GTS with the engine on the way out and swap in an RB25DE. Pretty straightforward swap (you can do it in a weekend) and also don't have to get it engineered.

No they don't - not if it's an engine that's available for that model car. Already asked vicroads about dropping a sr20det into GF's silvia back when she was still on Ps

"Replacement engine is identical to the original engine, or is an

option allowed by the manufacturer for the same model vehicle

The optional engine must be offered in Australia by the vehicle

manufacturer as an option for that vehicle (or certified variants). The

change of engine may be recorded by VicRoads provided that the

registered operator or a motor mechanic, or dealer in that make of

vehicle or an Automotive Engineer signs a declaration certifying the

engine is optional for the vehicle model, and that all modifications

made by the manufacturer for the same vehicle model with that optional

engine, have been completed."

yeah if it's a factory option then it's all good, hence RB25DE (not RB25DET). You don't even have to upgrade the brakes, cos they didn't change em in the GTS25.

meister S1 3pc. was gonna chuck em on the 32, but now they're goin on the 240z (once I do the S14 drivetrain conversion). 3.5k cos I don't wanna sell em :P but if anyone's tarded enough to give me that much for em, then I'm not gonna hold darwinian theory rob a fool of his money.

whats the specs? meisters wont suit 240z

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
