does it have to be something quick?

you could get some nice cars in that range

im gonna get a ba falcon XT bozz auto as my daily

then either rebuild my 33 and bring it back to life

or sell it and get something else quicker later

why dont you just sell the 33 now while you can still get something for it?

doesnt have to be a race car just something that'll keep me amused for the rest of this year. what do ba typhoons go for? wouldnt mind that

it wouldnt be worth $2

your struggling to sell yours and i bet yours is in mint condition

mine has heaps of shit wrong plus 230,000 on the clock

blags

make sure when u cut the wire, leave heaps of room incase u have to rejoin it

and make sure u tape up both ends securely, dont leave it loose

Ladies, or well...Mohsen...and gents...

GUESS WHO IS FINALLY HOME :D :D

ok cass... you win ;)

Miss my old R (the 33 that it is) a lot

the armco didn't...

BBBBBUUUUUUURRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNN

Lol im so awesome I have my own category.

Looking good Cass.

Peeps. Bank cheques. I'm not really experienced with bank stuff n all do would like to know how long does it take for a bank cheque to proces?

Thaaaannkkss

If anyone knows someone with an R32 LHS front upper arm and lower arm PLZ let me know asap

I might have a whole left front assembly (it could be right, would need to double check haha)

Need HELP!!!

Have the ECU pulled out but don't know which wire to cut for speed limiter!!! How are they numbered!!!!

why do you need to go over 180km/h?

You will most likely fark up your hicas and sensitive steering if you chop the speed signal wire from the ecu. (basing this off r32)

He's gonna be doing track days....wouldn't want a speed limiter...

who doesn't get a HICAS lock bar anyway...

theres a lot to learn about entry/exiting corners before you start maxing out the speed limiter. A lot of people jump in, max acceleration down the straights and then f*ck up on the entry of the corner as they coming in too fast or brake too long coming off the straight.

Best to learn technique before going 200km/h+. A beginner will be able to get a better time if all the motions are smooth. Catching up time down the straights seems like a quick win but it aint going to do any favours at the end where the corners are.

My 2cents.

edit; sensitive power steering will be affected when the speed sensor wire is chopped. ECU doesnt know the speed and makes the steering stiff.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
