Interested buyers loved the test drive in my car, spent 45 minutes going over it but have offered me $500 less than what I'm asking. They know I'm already asking a ridiculously low price for it and have gone away to think about it. They'll be back in two days offering what I'm asking, I know it :)

are you serious

are you delierious

**$1,000,000 listing is for advertising purposes only**

^^ Ad displays...

What ever that means...

Just put the asking price, I'd say...

dude gets guranteed views when people search on ebay, 99c listing price for ad, potentially serious buyers who'll play each other off etc. Plus he gets chumps like you guys talking about it and linking it in forums etc.

Sounds like he's got connections in japan etc, so I'm guessing if the bids go above 50k he'll make a profit regardless. Which from the looks of it, will happen.

you sent em away over $500 !?!? :domokun:

Yes. I agreed on a reduced price when before they came out to see it. They drove it, loved it, and couldn't fault it. They even said "you're asking a very fair price." They wanted me to knock a further $500 which is part of what they'll pay in transfer fee's. I'm sorry, but it's not my problem if they've never bought privately before and didn't realise there was fee's involved to get it into their name, I'm not footing the bill for it. If they go ahead and buy it I'll be up for about ~$500 to get it roadworthy as I promised I'd put brand new front tyres on it.

So yes, I sent them away over $500. My price is my price. They said they'll call me in two days. They liked it too much and have been searching for 2 years for a car like mine and have come across none in such good condition for the price. They'll be back.

I dont like people that come and look at your car for sale, and say they been looking for like a year its like nothing is good enough for them and they want to find a 100% perfect show room condition car from the 90s and expect the price to be the same as every other car.

Also don't like when you ask "looked at many cars?" And they respond by saying yeah - been looking at (insert 15 different cars here) its like they don't know what they want and just seems like a waste of time. This is only my personal experience though. Especially when some of the cars on the list are 10k and some are 50k + :whistling:

The car is perfect in their eyes, they're just trying to buy it at the same price as the crappy examples that are for sale with dodgy km's, dodgy owners and no doubt poor repairs. My car is original and honest. I already think I'm selling it too cheaply.

I even let their children climb through the car.

They'll be back.

just want to put it out there..

and everyone told me not to do this but i did it anyway

if you have a walkie stacker at work, dont stand on a trolley and kinda wheel around the factory in it. because you WILL forget about momentum and slam your chest into the fkn thing..

end stupid act admission/

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
