Yes I will be able to get them for a WRX, however you will have to wait for the next group buy if you don't mind waiting. As soon as this group buy is over (within the next week or so) I will open up the next group buy.

i'm 100% in for the next group buy

can you pm me when you start the next one?

Cheers

together with the clutchlines!

Hahaha yeah, yeah ;)

I actually sent them an email for pricing for the clutch lines so will hopefully get back to every one soon regarding that. As a quick rough price so people know what to expect it should be under $50 delivered Australia wide, but will give an exact price once I receive pricing.

I also need to find out from them whether their clutch lines replace everything from factory (around 70cm) or just replaces the small factory rubber line (around 10cm). Hopefully their kits replace everything, but once again I will give people updates on all of that at a later date.

Lets finish this one off first :D

Just a heads up

Have you actually received any photos of each model brake lines to show exactly what they are suppling?

Not the generic pic's they show on the website

The reason I ask, I just received a set of lines from Hel Australia. The are totally wrong. They do not have any of the factory style mounting blocks on the line. When I contacted them, they have told me they cannot supply them at all and can not help me. So now I have a pile of crap that is usless.

I ordered R33GTR fronts and the rears were suppose to be R33 GTST. I have a AWD stagea with skyline calipers, hence the odd combination.

I actually ordered them thru a site sponsor on here, so I will not name them. Need to sort it out with them for a refund.

Hey man, I have not seen exact photos of the GTST and GTR kits, however I did a bit of research before hand on the UK forums and others and never read anything about people having dramas to fit them. To my understanding they are the same fitting wise as to any other aftermarket braided line kit. I tried to ensure I was only ordering kits for specific vehicles and hence I didn't order any Stagea kits as I myself was not sure what fitted what. I'm sorry to hear for your problems, hopefully none of us have any dramas and you sort yours out.

Not to long now :)

I would also be interested in pics of actual product. Want to know if the r33 gtr lines bolt right up to the caliper (using bango bolt & eyelet - assumption made from the pic), or do you need the small peice of hard line from the caliper as with stock rubber lines.

Once I get the kits (any day now hopefully) I will install mine and post heaps of pics in a DIY thread. Hopefully there is no dramas with fitting and it is pretty straight forward.

You are right though, the GTR uses a hard line behind the caliper, where as a GTST does not from my understanding. So not sure how the kits go with bolting up within the different models. If anything I would assume they retain the hard line on the GTR since a hard line wouldn't expand like a rubber hose would, but I do not know, just my assumption.

Nothing yet :( I'm waiting on a reply about the tracking number so I can see where it is at. However I thought it would be here allready so hoping tomorrow.

Just a safety note guys, if you haven't worked on or fitted brake parts before make sure you get some professional help.

Its not a hard job but done wrong you may end up in the sh1t.

No point in upgrading your brakes and then not fitting or bleeding them right and doing damage, or worse still, crashing.

Lol yeah probably a good point. My DIY will help but as you have said, if people aren't confident don't do it yourself and then blame me :P

Also guys no kits today, am a bit pissed off about it and they still havn't replied to my email regarding the tracking number. Guess I can't do much other than wait.

Really sorry guys :P

Nothing guys. The lack of communication now is becoming irritating. Still no tracking number has been sent to me so I don't know how far off the kits actually are. I'm going to email them again now so please bare with me. Once again sorry for this delay guys, but we shall get there in the end.

Righteo guys, still nothing and I aint happy. I'm calling England tonight to see where the f**k these brake lines are. 2-3 days delivery my ass. Havn't had a reply from them for over a week now even though I have sent three emails asking for the tracking number. I'll let you guys know what they say.

Keep cool guys, last time I got something from England it ended up coming by sea and took 3 months.

Its a big company, so the goods will arrive sooner than later.

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
