Well, im not real happy at the moment!

This morning i get woken up at 2:30am from a loud smashing sound... Some one had decided to break a bloody big hole in our rear door of the house and grab my wallet and my dads car keys.

By the time i made it to the door they had gone... all within 20 seconds or so.

My dad and i were so distracted by the door that we never checked till about 3 minutes late to see what had gone missing. and sure enough along with my wallet was dads car. Never heard or saw the car take off.

It's a new VY Berlina green/olive in colour License 1BLT *** (dont remember the other digits)

Now i wouldn't really get shuch a HUGE fuss about it all (the car is covered by insurance, and a wallet is replaceable), BUT, my mother has just gone off her first cycle of Chemo therapy for her cancer. She is bed ridden at the moment, and this has totally freaked her out. It was the last thing that she needed to come with at the moment. and it showed because i had to stand there and watch my mother cry!

She's upset (as you would be) because someone had invaded her personal space and now has access to the house while she is at home and my dad and i are at work.

I was roaming the streets till about 4:30 looking for the car, but with no avail.

The police found the car at 5:40am in kwinana saying that it was smashed into a pole and abandoned. didn't say if there were the keys or my wallet there.

Any way, sorry about the length, i just thought that since it was thursday (crazy car) night, someone may have seen the car around. We live in Winthrop, so they may have gone down to Macas Leach Hwy, or to a illegal get-up somewhere.

If anyone know of the people or could help me in finding the people i would be interested to meet them. There would be a reward in place.

Although i do want to hurt them, i try to live up to my mothers strong christan up-bringing, and all i ask is that they appoligise to my mother for her undue stress. If not then i will kill them.

Thanks for your help guys, soory if i got slightly emotional, but when its your mum...

God bless

Nate

this is one of those stories that you dont like to hear... but the story when you find them, well thats priceless...

sorry to hear about your bad times mate... if i hear of any stories of guys bragging that they stole a VY berlina then you will be to know...

i'll stand behind you when you find them... just to stop you killing them infront of a camera or something...

dark places are the way to go...

damn man, real sorry to hear that. To be gone in less than 20 seconds after breakin in and being able to take your wallet and ure dads keys, have you thought it MAY be someone you know ? cus to get in and out in 20 seconds like that they woulda either cased the joint OR ya keys were right next to the door....

anyways.

I hope you catch the bastards. Laws these days are a joke, people can get away with anything.

Nate ... sorry to hear about that mate ... and i think its really sweet you care so much about your parents that you would do anything to right this wrong.

My Aunties house in Mandurah was broken into on Wednesday they made a huge mess but must of got disturbed because nothing was taken (emptied all the jewellery on the bed n everything but didnt take) and the police have dusted the place to find they were wearing gloves.... so she was pretty fortunate but i wonder being in the same area around the same nights if the two were connected?

I really do hope you catch the pricks and they get what they deserve ....dont kill them ...they arent worth going to jail for .... just cripple them.

This would be another reason that I keep my keys/wallet right next to my bed head at night.

I'm generally a heavy sleeper and nothing wakes me, except when I hear my keys rattle! (well, or the bin man!)

Sorry to hear about it Nate ;) Hope the coppers catch them...

Nate sorry to here about your dads car i will keep my ear out as im down this way-- Niz Mandurah and Kwinana 40 Klms apart not the same area, but we had a car stolen from our Mandurah depot carpark on Sunday they rammed it through the cyclone gates. There was another one dumped at the entrannce that had broken down. so there is a lot of activity in Mandurah atm due to the Police crack down in Rockingham this month -- More bloody coppers here than you can poke bacon at ---- so you find they have headed down that way or back up to Kwinana

that sux, really sorry 2 hear

yeh the exact same thing happened 2 me a few months ago only i woke up while they were still in the house! luckily the keys they grabbed were for the wrong car (mine are always by my side) so they ended up with the keys for my parents camry which wasnt there at the time and thought they got the keys for my skyline!

anyway i really hope you find who did it as we never found out who broke into our house and it was really frustrating knowing that sum1 can do this stuff and get away with it ;)

as a bit of a sidenote, my place was broken in to on 27 December whilst I was in it.

My g/f was asleep in bed, and they came through the balcony doors that lead in to the bedroom (climbed up it, we are on the second story), walked straight past her, came to the front of the apartment (I was on the front balcony with two mates, drinking beer), they took my wallet and mobile phone, and my mates wallet and his car keys and house keys.

My mate had $400 in his wallet from xmas and he had to spend another $700 to change his house locks and car locks/alarm ;)

Police came and found a handprint (well, I found it) on a mirrored robe door, and the forensics guy said it was from a young person (10-12).

They also robbed the lady next door at the same time, while she was asleep too, but they must have been scared by something as they left her laptop computer in the laneway behind the apartment and the police found it after I reported my burglary that night, but she didn't find out until the morning !!

We should start a vigilante group to hunt these scum sucking mother phuckers down and hurt them.

Bully ... its just says the car was FOUND in Kwinana.  So i didnt know any differently.... always assumed Nate lived in Manduarah for some reason ... my bad.

NPS - Just puttin things into perspective they could have indeed driven to Mandurah and back to Kwinana because of the following:

Things that i know

1. That theres a group in Port Kennedy/Warnbro area that "borrows" cars they normally leave them parked on Ennis Ave in Coolongup, burnt out or damaged when they are finished.

2.These indiginous people also have reles in Mandurah and Kwinana

3.These were part of the group targeted by Police raids in Rocky this week.

4.These are more than likely the same mob that attacked our cruise the other week.

5.I know of another person attacked in this area by these people also in the last few days.

6. As i said we had a car stolen from one of our Mandurah depots on Sunday that also may be related.

Mirkz ... good in theory .... but you think .... "are these little maggots really worth a jail term for?" .... they arent going to learn their lesson why ruin your life for them?

cheers for the concerns guys.

Dads car was a write-off apparently, so he gets a new car, nice, but not the best way to get one i guess :(

we got the keys back to the house so mum is slightly eased by that, and they found my wallet all intact except for credit cards (all canceled) and my drivers license. Now i feel like a part of my soul has been taken from me, i mean they have my drivers license with my picture and all my details... i dont like it!

Anyway, everyone is safe, its all that matters i guess.

oh and Niz, i live in winthrop :)

Thanks guys,

Nate

just hope they dont open any video hire accounts in your name!

when I was 18 I gave my expired licence to a mate to use as I.D.

*insert disclaimer about underage drinking and immoral behaviour*

anyays, the little turd, who looked a lot like me, opened up an account at video ezy in my name and rang up a huge bill. I got a call from the video shop asking when I was gonna bring back Donnie does Dallas (cowboys) and about a million other R rated pornos.

however, by the sounds of it you dont have much to worry about. they won't look like you. if you know what I mean.

wish your family the best getting over it.

Al.

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
