So what is "wrong" with it as far as the RWC goes?

I'd love to buy this dude!

AWESOME CAR!

Worth more than your asking, i dunno what these crack heads are on about but you will easily get that!

Are you throwing in the Power FC for free with the car?

I mean with that in and tuned i'd expect, what...... 250-300rwkw?

RWC comes down to searching around and finding someone that will do it. when i find a buyer, then we'll just have to work together to find someone. but it can be done

the powerfc does not come in the car. that is a seperate sale.

i was planning a pretty conservative tune and would be happy with anything between 230-250 rwkw. but obviously the turbo is good for more than that.

Hey man just a few questions.

Where abouts are u located? Would u do 20 with a rwc included?

What sort of aftermarket manifold is on it, as i can see the turbo is high mounted....

Interested

ThanX man

Simon

gday. welcome to my thread.

im in melbourne also.

the car is sold as is. BUT im sure we could work something out. apart from rear tyres and turbo/wastegate setup, it should be rw.

i think the manifold is HKS, cause it seems to be a complete kit and its the same as pictures on the net. but it doesnt say HKS anywhere. it is stainless steel, and its just had some cracks welded up and the plate trued. and wrapped in exhaust wrap.

peace out

I have a trusted Mechanic who happens to be a family member and has looked at a few cars that " looked ok" but found many hard to pick things and has prob saved me thousands of $$ in the long run so i get him to check everything out for me and he wouldnt have the time for a trip to melbourne.

Sounds paranoid but its not much different to importing a car from Japan, minus the language barrier.

Dude, i'm not interested in buying the car, but i wanted to comment on how sweet it looks. Awesome and cheap. Maybe you should sell it for more as people might think it's stuffed for the price you're asking :)

Anyway a free bump. Good luck with the sale.

Scott

hmmmmm i dont think that is the reason that people arent buying this car. i think it is because most people that want an r32 are looking to geting one for closer to 15g and that is up to them. i think you need to have a love for 32 to want this car (i am one of them :) people think just because you car get a 32 for 7g under the new 15 rule that all of them should be cheep "not the way it happens!"

good luck with the sale - if i sell my car befor this car goes i will be in contact.

regards, jonathan

yeah i always knew that would be the case.

its no surprise that most of the people giving the car props are owners of r32s and/or modified cars in general.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
