Nice looking front bar Mark no doubt would have been pretty savage on the bank account although you often get what you pay for. Will be interesting to see how much quicker you can go with some more power and a bit of suspension tuning. I think you might have your work cut out for you trying to better the cup cars time though the thing went quicker again last track day now lapping 54.3. Certainly will be good to watch you have a crack at it though.

sure will be tough but I cant wait to give it a crack! If you don't set your targets high you will always underachieve.

I really need to be sensible about it though, as an inexperienced driver, this thing is now capable of biting me in the arse.

We were running a tune with 535hp, conservative as the guys had literally just finished putting the car together the previous day.

There is a list of mods at the start of the thread, though we used a different radiator (PWR rather than the CBRD)

Hopefully will run about 600hp next time out.

thats awesome.. 54's next time maybe :(

also been wondering, how hard is it to adjust front camber with the hi octane items and how much did they cost.

I dont like the kit i have at the moment as its difficult to change from street to track, then back again.

Best chat to Trent and the guys at mercury. I haven't seen them set the camber in person.

We haven't fully tuned the suspension yet, and went out last time with some rough adjustments. Will have it sorted for the next outing.

The high octane setup is expensive. What control arms did you go with?

Darren, the bumper was actually very reasonably priced. It cost less than many front lip spoilers on there own. It will require some mucking around though when fitting to reposition the coolers to fit perfectly and maximize the use of the cooling ducts/cutouts.

Mark,

Bring your car to Drive Bathurst in November... At least on the mountain you will get to unleash all the cars potential.

Im sure doing 55's around QLD raceway is awesome BUT

Just imagine doing 2.20 - 2.30 min laps around Bathurst...

the beast should be there too....300kph here we come....

We would definitely crew for you Mark if you want to go!!

Now we are talking.

Easy - truck the car to Bathurst with Toll Logistics and fly down to Bathurst.

Will be the best 2 days driving of your life guaranteed.

Given we are there 5 days Im having 1000 litres of E85 delivered to the track for 09GTR and myself.

Would be easy to bring you in on this...

You will get to do approx 70-80 laps over 2 days.

so the the guys at mercury started fitting the bumper today. it was a real bitch to fit, not an oem-like fit thats for sure.

managed to get it to line up well in most paces with a lot of swearing, though the fitment at the side indicators is a problem we are yet to solve. fitment at the cooling plate under the hood is a little off also. I will be in correspondence with top racing in the morning to see if there is anything they recommend.

still haven't fitted the air scoops and deflector at the intercooler opening.

sounds like there night be a fix for the fitment issue.

top racing and their manufacturer carbon weave have personally called me 3 times thisafternoon and sent about 4 emails to get on top of the problem. seem very keen to be helpful.

will keep you posted...

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
