not a skyline, but the missus pulsar (formerly mine) was a mid 2000 model (so one of the last n15's ever made) and it's harmonic balancer has different timing marks to the earlier models. instead of having 5 or 6 marks it only has 3. i've only heard of 1 other one being like it and it was made in the same month

Ive also got them ^^^^

front pair only though.

Following Mr Eps train of thought..

Also another cefiro owner, mines a 1988.

has 'chrome' grill and factory option front lip.

Also have a range of datsun struts, including dr30.

dr30 taillight sets x2

genuine rubber ADthree DR30 boot lip.

NOS 510 fendor mirrors

assorted 510 jdm badges including SSS ones

73 'plastic' 510 grill.

1979 PA10 'violet' grill

510 coupe taillights

1991 sr20det 180sx, still with factory airbox and intercooler, haha.

1990 r31 silhouette, in pritty decent condition still running the silo centrecaps

Probably got other stuff ive forgotten about over the years

East Bear GTS-R body kit (only one other full kitted EB car in oz)

GTR V-Spec rear diffuser isn't rare for GTR's of course, but i don't know anyone else running one on a GTT. Called Nissan for shits and giggles and they wanted $10K for a rear diffuser :worship:

my r34 gtt manual sedan has no rear wiper !!! i havent seen any others without one ??

That is rare - I thought they came as standard equipment.

My car (R34 sedan) has a parking antenna - haven't seen any other car with one, except a Stagea.

I drive a clean stock (most parts still genuine) '83 bluebird (daily) which is pretty rare nowadays.

Mine stock-ish car had yellow brake calipers when I bought it... I thought the factory ones should be black?

Genuine HR31 JIC Coilovers.

r31jics.jpg

my mate has a set of these, front shocks are farked, and we have noo idea where you'd get inserts from! He ended up going 5 stud and a set of S13 brand new JICs

his GTS-X also came with the smoking fan on the parcel shelf, auto spoiler and the compressor under the drivers seat to pump up the bolsters (jealous much).

mine unfortunately is boring spec lol

My R32 doesn't have a rear wiper :thanks: Thanks to it being a GTE model (pretty much bottom of the range). I like it better without.

I also have the option front 'auto-spoiler', although this didn't come with the car. I sourced it to buy intentionally and ended up buying one with the motors for $30. I never hooked up the motors though, I just fitted it straight to the front bar.

I also have the factory option weather visors that go above the doors, got these from Japanese Yahoo Auctions. These for 4dr are so hard to find.

For rare/unusual modifications I have a genuine Nismo cup holder, nismo leather gear knob but not just any nismo gear knob, it's got the old style logo on it. My Recaro you could say is a rare model too, it's the Recaro SR3 'trail' model.

I got 17" 5 stud Formula Mesh rims which are also very rare to come across.

I love owning unique/rare/unusual items on my car.

    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
