You guys don't have this one on your list,

SkylineNationalsatShepparton29Jul06.jpg

I don't have many details, Its a Victorian car photo is from the Nats in 2006, but he has been to all of them since digging thru my photos to find some more.

his last name is Lane.

nearly 100% original, i think it has the wrong radio surround?

gtr fan, all of the ATCC cars were ADM spec. They had to be to comply with the rules.

Marko, the list needs to include a car of unknown colour that was written off by one of the car mags, Ill do some hunting and see if I can find the article.

The rules didn't require that. Remember there was M3's and Sierras running too! Lol

The original press car was red. If it was actually written off, I dunno. At $110k back then it took a LOT to write one off!

Here's pics of two Wheels Mags I took last night.

I also have the article with Richards comparing the race car to a black road car too. Can dig that out if you like? Not sure if the black roady was Jim's, the Bathurst pace car, or another privately owned car. From memory, the black and white Vic number plate started with "KB", so I'm thinking it could well have been Kevin Bartlett's.

I'm not sure if this red one pictured is the same car in both images? The pic with a trade plate was the first Aussie test (with handling comparo between other supercars of the time), the second, with full rego number plate, is the top speed comparo at Lang Lang with Crompton driving.

Lucky bugger! How much fun was that?

Have we got this one?

Now added to list

i think you will find that Kier has a red one too. call him or PM Martin Donnon to confirm

Now added to the list

You've got a red one listed as heavily modded by sub zero, that car was ON BAIL, qld plates on gold 18" BBS Lm's.

Yet there's a silver one on nsw same plates and wheels?

Confusion reigns supreme!

I was confused as well, searched google & yes ONBAIL now carries GODZLA plates, red as per below pic

Didn't GMS race GTR's in 1990? And aren't all ADM's manuafactured in 1991?

Dumb question...what is GMS?

I can add some more info on the Linfox car thanks to the fellow with the Wheels article.

The original registration plate according to the Delivery Docket in the Warranty Booklet was EXD 441 which is the car illustrated in the article.

At least I can prove how fast she'll go now.

What year and month was the article in Wheels? I've been collecting Wheels since 1979 so I should have it somewhere.

Well, congratulations mate! If you own that car, I would suggest it's likely the most collectable road going version available!

I'll find out the article dates for you this weekend :)

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
