Funny how 0.5 sec is an irrelevance in the real world, yet an eternity in F1 terms. damn that quick little barstid

surely 2012 can only get better for him

Year for the second title?.. if somehow the RB8 manages to be a dog all season

hmmm...

Webz has a brain explosion in an interview and puts it on the front row. Only 3 tenths behing Seb in Singapore is a good effort. he has been positively shit around Singapore in past years. lets hope Vettel pulls a heart muscle and gets too hot to bother and Webber can bring it home.

First corner will be interesting :)

mr predictions for tonights race

hamilton takes out vettel at the first corner

button has a relatively ordinary first half of the race then comes home like a baws

webber half a lap down by the time he manages to get to the first corner, then he too comes home like a baws until he tries to shortcut the track by launching himself over the wall, using a slower car as a kicker ramp (valencia 2010 style), and then in the interview asking what happened he just says "yeah, i fucked up"

... What is his longest run of points finishes and when was it?

So getting back Heir Hackness. Maybe I am over stating the significance, but his longest run of points finishes without binning cars and crashing etc was the first 9 races of 2007! His best run of consistant, solid race results was his first ever, 9 F1 races.

To me that says his head was in the right place when he first came into F1. He was focused and most importantly disciplined and as a rookie, no doubt concerned about his arrival and impact in the sport...showed amazing maturity to be so fast and consistant.

Then, he seems to have figured he has proven his point, his discipline disappears and the real, show boat Lewis who is a tad petulant and hot headed turns up to GP weekends, who way too often throws away points for Mclaren...yet still wants to be thought of as one of the best in F1.

Sure, he may be one of the quickest most natural drivers in F1, but results speak volumes and he has thrown away so many points...he needs to get his sh1t together if he doesnt want to go down as a lucky 1 time WDC who in his time was left for dead by the likes of Vettel, Alonso and some of the young punters who are coming up through the ranks

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
