im just telling him whats real

-instead of hateing he should be particpating.........

who knows what if this motor makes it to 600whp and lives

-i think its posible

look at our honda motors

a b20 is the thinest sleeves and people would crack the sleeves at 7-9lbs of boost......

for years thats what everyone though...

-now after our test we have quit a few of them at over 20-psi with 400+whp(stock block!)

-from this i say since a stock honda block with tiny rods and weak rod bolts can take 100hp per cylinder

why can t a rb25 factory turbo motor take 100whp per cylinder.......

yea you get the off motor that can make more than the average.

I've seen first hand a stock bottom end 26 make 500rwkw, so what?

it didn't last long.

if you actually ho back and read my post and take it in, you'll see/understand why most don't want to push the limits.

that s what people say when they ve never been in a big turbo car........

This thread is getting f**king retarded...

You're obviously here to argue and not take on some of the advice/info being provided to you from some very knowledgable people, so why bother starting the thread? Stick to your fully sick Honda's and your 'monster' 400hp and continue to be envious of our Aussie built RB's :(

So we go from stock engine to just stock block or what? Most of the people in here seem to be talking stock engines, as in, unopenned - not stock block.

Compare apples and apples.

You honestly seem to be more set on trolling rather than learning from the wealth of experience on these forums.

yup thats y we re on e85 with a shit load of meth injection lol....

what kind of dyno did u do 480 on? and if ur from australia do u have quarter mile mph to back up the power?

thanks for info

Mainline dyno's and Dyno Dynamics (not in shoot out mode) all ranging from 348-356rwkw (it has been on 4 different dyno's), never been on a hub dyno. I'm from Adelaide, South Australia which hasn't had a drag strip for 8 or so years so no slips to back up power.

my mate with the 25 s14 was tuned by 101 in brisbane so not to sure what dyno but the car was used for drift. i think he ended up spinning a bearing. mind you he rebuilt it back to standard and untill he parted the car it was going strong for over a year.

dont be so abrasive. you sound like a wanker.

been making 430rwhp out of a stock internaled rb25 for over 2 years now.

car is thrashed regularly, and sees drift days, circuit days, hill runs and has done 1 boring ass drag day.

car ran @ 12.9 @ 119mph with full drift setup as drag racing just not worth altering the car for

figure has been made on multiple dyno's including hub and roller.

car makes full boost by 3400...

Read the dyno thread, proof of lots of 250-300kw rb25s with all the details of how they got it

you are using a laggy shit dinosaur turbo, you will never get good results, peak power sure but a crap powerband. Get a decent garret gt28 gt30 style turbo to match your power levels and you will get better results.

dude in post 1 says he is on e85 ash which is why i thought it was relavent

otherwise its 385rwhp on pulp

as it states

we r on e85 with a big jet on meth injection

-for u guys that r too scared of alchol try it u will never turn back!

wow! its 2010 guys by now we should all know

Gasoline is for washing parts, alcohol is for drinking and nitro is for racing!

man up....

You do realise that methanol isn't nitro...

I love when my stereotypical hatred for Americans arrogance is always confirmed whenever I converse with one ;)

yea but we have used nitro and not afraid of it

-unlike all u we have tested it

-if nitro isn t so expensive we would be injection it with methanol.................

now that will jump hp....

yea you get the off motor that can make more than the average.

the thing is that was then

now we have better techonolgy and cheaper race gas(e85)with meth injection.....

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
