Cut your balls off I see... Decided to buy something that feels fast so you dont have to drive fast LOL.

MMM nah I forgive you, poor bastard. My best mate lost a finger in a very basic drop at wakefield the other day, hope you fare better than him.

Hi guys.

I am writing to you from far away Russia.

I wanted to consult on the turbine .... I hope for your help .... here in Russia we can say qualified no ....

The car I Nissan Skyline R33 RB25det transmission mechanic 1995 release ...

All specs are great except for the turbine ........

In search of turbines ... saw this here

http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item2567d58f9f

What can you say about her??

Then I saw the turbine T67-25G Kinugawa ... and in search of information about her came across your forum .....

Friends please tell us all about this turbine ... Good?? Is not broken?? It is worth taking??

Ps

Read the whole subject is difficult for me because I own Angliskim bad language and a great chat through an interpreter translate the posts ... I'm sorry for my bad anglisky .... hope for your help

Unfortunately there are no results for the OBX turbo on this website.. That particular one also looks like it is running an 8cm exhaust housing and is NOT suited to the RB25.

The Kando Dynamic T67 has proven itself with a number of good results and no failure rate that we know of. The Kando item is available with a 10cm rear which suits much better plus also is conveniently a T3 flange inlet and 3" V band outlet.

Use this particular turbo for 400+whp.

LINE 26, There have been Very good results from this turbo

My bad, i didnt actually click the click he was showing, thought he meant a kando not OBX,

I've got plenty of toys just no money haha, not sure why..

Careful with the slang skip, hes from mother russia. He may feel perplexed by your offer to throw another shrimp on the barby mate.

ONE POINT ONE JIGGA WATTS!!

Quick update on my turbo, took the car to Powercruise over in Perth on the weekend! Ran 1.7bar and over 8000rpm the whole time over the 3 days with no issues (well I split a silicon cooler hose in half on sunday but cheap easy fix)

Glad to report turbo and motor still going as strong as ever :)

How many KMs would you have put on the turbo now? Or if its not regularly street driven how many hours use?

Love your work as always.

Not regularly street driven so probably 5000kms or so...

Been on the dyno pushed hard 3 times, drags once, track night, motorkhana and powercruise weekend. Plus beaten up a little on the roads so it has not been treated nicely :)

Got another track night coming up in next few weeks and track day at start of next month so more punishment to come :nyaanyaa:

Well with the turbine determined ..... I'll take Kinugawa

And what a manifold recommend?? preferably not expensive

That can not yet determined what kind of turbine to take them ... there is not much options If not difficult can link to the turbine and collector?? (On ebay) which is ideal for rb25det

We here are confident that you will need to spend more money on the manifold than you will on the turbo.

Please consider 6boost, ETM or FullRace.

If it withstands a year of this it will be a testament to the 25s reliability.

Or further clarification of the 'how long is a piece of string' scenario LOL.

I actually find motors that get driven hard all the time withstand more punishment than those that get driven hard occasionally, go figure..

I for one have never killed a motor of my own (my cars are normally dedicated hills/weekend thrash use only) and I have never owned a car for less than 60,000ks.. Yet I have killed a number of friends motors with one good kick in the guts.

I dunno... Even that I feel is a dynamic variable..

If the motor is happy revving there then I dont see why not. The torque and power character of the setup would influence the load on the motor, there is no denying that. It just might be as happy spinning to 8 as a different setup would be spinning to 7.

    • I'd be very surprised if you can buy new OEM mats. But if you can, I want some too!  Do you have links to the variations you found? Also, where are you located? I found that Nengun is happy to list items to purchase but when you do buy them you'll get an email that it's actually discontinued. As far as I know the variations in floor mats are different colour schemes as well as automatic and manual having a slightly different shape. The automatic ones fit into a manual car without issues, but I think you'd have trouble fitting the other way around. I have photos that show the shape difference if you care. FWIW I bought sets of used floor mats in decent condition at yahoo auctions.
    • Hi 🙋‍♂️. Just bought my Unicorn but the interior need some minor work so it would match my expectations ;). I noticed it is hard to get used oem floor mats in good condition so i started to dig if there's any chance to buy set of new ones. I found two websites - nengun and amayama and it looks like one can still buy factory new floor mats in Japan, but thers a small issue. Some mats (i assume genuine, oem ones) are marked as G4900 and these are "discontinued". The ones you can buy are marked as G4911 but i have no idea if these are also oem, made by other producer or some lower quality replacements that looks entirely different. Can anyone help? 😃  P.s. there is also some strange indication - 0V005, 0V015 and 0V505. Any idea what does it mean? Would appreciate any help with this 🙏
    • Hi, Marek here 🙋‍♂️. I finally fulfilled my longtime dream - recently bought Stagea and now waiting for it to arrive in Poland. There's only few of these in my country, and one of the owners  recommended mi this forum as a source of all the info i'd need since now i own one  so here i am.
    • Version 1 aluminium airbox is.......not acceptable No pics as I "didn't like the look.....alot" Even after all my "CAD", and measurements, the leg near the fusebox just didn't sit right as it ended up about 10mm long and made the angle of the dangle look wrong, the height was a little short as well, meh, I wasn't that confident that Version 1 was going to be an instant winner I might give Version 2 another go, there's plenty of aluminium at work, but, after having in on and off a few times, and laying in the old OEM airbox without the new pod filter and MAF, there may be an option to modify the OEM air box and still use the Autoexe front cover and filter.... maybe This >  Needs to fit in here, but using the panel, and not the pod, the MAF will need to fit in the airbox though> I'm thinking as the old OEM box and Autoexe cover that is sitting in the shed is just sitting around doing nothing, and they are relatively abundant and cheap to replace if I mess it up and need another, it may well fit with some modifications to how the Autoexe brackets mounts to the rad support, and some dremiling to move it get in there, should give me some more room for activities, as I don't want to move the MAF and affect the tune Sealing the hole it requires to stick it in the air box is simple, a tight fit and some pinch weld will seal it up tight  I am calling this a later problem though
    • and it ends up being already priced in as though you're just on 91RON without any ethanol. Car will lose a bit of economy as the short and long term fuel trims bring down the AFR back to stoich or whatever it is for cruise/idle for the engine.
