R31Nismoid
Exactly. 700hp front, with a 450-500hp rear... not optimal at all regardless of what results you wanna quote. A 3071 would almost make the same power, but with a noticeable improvement. mickr33
Hi there. Im currently running a 3076 with 0.82 rear. This was initially on the stock manifold which basically would not go past 290kw. The tuner even tried going up to 23psi which resulted in no power increase. So left it on 19psi. The only change since then has been the install of a S-tec manifold which is still low mount and the end result was 18psi at 300kw. Not sure what this manifold would be restricted at but from what i've researched they are said to be good for around 340kw ish. My tuner did not even try for more as he said for a stock motor that's all he want's to push it to. So for me the S-tec low mount manifold is perfect. It is 321 stainless, fit perfectly and was finished off very well. It has been on the car for around 6 months now with no dramas and cost $450 delivered from Japan. www.stec-motorsports.com Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/348258-new-turbo-set-up-gt35r-how-much-power-before-i-should-upgrade-from-stock-exhaust-manifold/page/2/#findComment-5604250 Share on other sites

ursin
its a .82. i got some overtime in work so im just going with the raw brokerage manifold. i would like to get the best spool time out of this turbo as i can. and stop with the 3076 comments. im not going to switch to it, if you guys like it thats fine but i already have the 35r. heres a link to the manifold. the only thing i am considering doing if its going to be to my benefit is getting the t4 twin scroll ex housing instead of the t3 open that is currently on it.. http://rawbrokerage.com/Raw-Brokerage-Pro-Turbo-Manifold-RB20-RB25-RB26-raw-exman-rb.htm Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/348258-new-turbo-set-up-gt35r-how-much-power-before-i-should-upgrade-from-stock-exhaust-manifold/page/2/#findComment-5604440 Share on other sites
TiTAN
just get a 6boost or ETM manifold as they dont have to be shipped from the USA, probably be cheaper too. (note i am NOT questioning the quality) 6boost was $1250 shipped in under 2 weeks and they look pretty good too... if you do have problems it would be much easier for you to work with kyle than with someone in the us Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/348258-new-turbo-set-up-gt35r-how-much-power-before-i-should-upgrade-from-stock-exhaust-manifold/page/2/#findComment-5605000 Share on other sites
ursin
lol sorry i live in the USA thats exaclty why im getting it. not cause it "looks cool" ..... 6 boost is harder to find over here. i get a lot of my parts for my RB over there they are a good place to deal with. Harey
U Exactly. 700hp front, with a 450-500hp rear... not optimal at all regardless of what results you wanna quote. A 3071 would almost make the same power, but with a noticeable improvement. And then when an aftermarket manifold is fitted and he wants to make use of the built engine he's got nowhere to go. Shane_954
If it is right thats close to my 30e that has full boost at 3600, making 303rwkw @ 17psi on an ETM manifold. Sounds a bit early to me? l0WRB
sounds way to early because i have a gt3582r .82 on stock manifold with 50mm gate and i dont see 18psi in 2nd til bout 4500 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/348258-new-turbo-set-up-gt35r-how-much-power-before-i-should-upgrade-from-stock-exhaust-manifold/page/2/#findComment-5606019 Share on other sites
Rolls
sounds laggy and shit, OP you should seriously seriously consider selling the turbo and getting a GT30 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/348258-new-turbo-set-up-gt35r-how-much-power-before-i-should-upgrade-from-stock-exhaust-manifold/page/2/#findComment-5606061 Share on other sites
