Do you have the factory Screen/Nav Unit. I saw the cluster on ebay also, but was trying to determine if it was the right cluster to suit car with factory screen (different part numbers according to Nismo catalog)?

I have a set of Nismo boost gauges. Looking for the Nismo cluster as we speak (ex Japan). Out of interest, what did you end out paying?

Yeah I have the factory screen/nav. I thought they were only available for the cars with the factory screens?

Got it for $400 in the end, which I thought was pretty good considering the prices on Import Monster.

Fingers crossed I have the right one then...

Can't look at that M35stagea.info link... seems down for me again for some reason... down about 70% of the time I go to look :(

yeah sorry about the site being down. its not, im back now so i can look into it!

all my info to the navi screen is missing. not that i care, its for tv and reverse camera. the dash looks the goods!

also note that that it DOES light up bright during the day, and at night it goes dimmer. opposite to the standard one. see if your hi-beam light is yellow. mine is. weird.

Yeah I checked http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ and it said it was up, but I'm behind a different ISP at the moment than usual, and still shows as down :(

Sounds like it'll work regardless then, but no more green leaf :( Ah well, fingers crossed I got the right one!

I had an issue with one of my sites previously with people behind TPG being unable to view. Ended up being a reverse DNS issue, might be worth looking into?

Plenty of different stuff available for 350Z/ G35 in the US (think Ichiba, etc), but going that way will actually REDUCE the wheel to guard clearance.

Maybe shoot spoolin12 a PM, I'm sure his offsets must be close to this after the fitment of his Akebono Brake setup, due to the required spacers to clear the calipers.

For anyone who is thinking about getting Ichiba stuff...

I'm assuming the links refer to damaged or weak parts, it was more of a general direction to that type of part, rather than a endorsement.

Good point nonetheless.

Yeah of course...didn't mean to insinuate you were endorsing them

Just a warning nevertheless!

Cheers mate, shot him through a PM.

I'm also looking to stretch so hopefully it won't rub too much.

Would a narrower rim help at all? The only reason I ask is the rims I'm looking at only come in +22, 10 or 0.

Ill send you thru some photos when i get some off mine. i think i have +20 offset on a 18x10 inch rim with stretched tyres..

the rears are in just and the fronts are out of the guards by about an inch..

ok so my wing arrived while i was away, got it and put it on the car. finishes off the outside for me!

also installed regassed tailgate struts. now it opens and stays open lol

Might be time for a pic in the gallery?

Did you use "Strut Re-Gas" or similar? Cost?

$100 at my local mechanic.

yeah apparently they pressurize them in a box and force more gas in. the seals allow gas in, but not out (im sure they eventually leak)

anyway they work very well! now i have a spare set.

also have 2 spare working hi-mount stop lights work :)

Here's what I did to my Stagea on Thursday night on the way up the coast:

Tyre blew on the F3 just before the heavy vehicle checking station/weighbridge - luckily for me it just deflated really quickly instead of exploding. MASSIVE thanks to StageIan for helping, and then giving me a lift home from the coast.

Obviously I'll have to take a LOT of camber out when I get a new set installed in a few days - both sides were worn right down to the thread/metal...

    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
    • There is a guy who said he can weld me piping without having to cut chassis, maybe I do that ? Or do I just go reverse flow but isn’t reverse flow very limited once again?
