Hi Guys,

Need some bigger wheels for the GTR due to brake upgrade but now can't decide on what colour would look best. Too hard lol..

Black, Superlap or maybe able to get my hands on a set of Time Attack eddition.

Size will be 19x10.5 +12

Tyre 275/30/19 Advan AD08

Brakes Brembo 6 pot Silver caliper with brembo in red.

Car is White R34 GTR with Z-Tune kit here is a quick pick.

Any thought or opinions on what would be best would be appreciated

Cheers

black ones, just make sure of 2 things, fill the rear guards a lot more, (right now looks like a cave) and 2, please remove of the gtr badge on the front, looks very very tacky on that car.

other than that, thats one hell of a nice car!

i would go black , black rims or bright silver looks tops on a white GTR , my preference would be black CE28N Time Attacks !!!!!

Te37s , i find are a little more common/boring than CE28N s . But thats my opinion . GLthumbsup.gif Let me see some pics when you choose !!!!!!!!!

CE28N time attacks Or maybe CE28N GENESIS

Well it's official can not get time attack from rays anymore. They wil not do a one off.

The closest the can offer is http://www.seiboncarbon.com/products/race-wheel/volk/#

Has anyone seen or heard of ths edditon before? Or would straight balck look better?

Thanks again

Looks like "Seibon" did their own replication, probably due to what you said, as RAYS don't make the Time Attack Wheels anymore.

I don't like "Seibon" stickered on it, I prefer it to have VOLK on it.

In this case, just go for full black TE37 wheels.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
