Hicas pump is on the other side of the motor to turbos...

I don't think I said anything about it being in the way of changing turbos?

It got in my way when A) changing the bloody oil filter.. and B) replacing the intake manifold gasket, getting at those bolts at the back is a right pain.

Not connecting all coolant and heater hoses before putting engine in = massive face palm

I did mine after the engine was in but I had the intake manifold off.. no way it could happen with that on! Might be a bit different with a 26 because the water rail is a lot neater and closer to the runners.

OK! Everything is hooked up except radiator top hose and throttle cable. Powered her up to check the electrics and everything except the pillar gauges (acting funny, will get the multimeter out tomorrow) and the stoplight switch was sticky. The HID's work mint, the highbeam mod works mint, thermo fans work mint although there is a slight reverberation between the two fans when they are both on but meh. No fires, no melted wires or bad smells, fuel pump primes.. tomorrow I'll plug the laptop in and check all the sensors, if that's good I'll change the maps for new afm and injectors and hopefully I get a throttle cable so I can start it on Friday!
