Wow, What a great weekend! Thanks to the organisers and the officials for all of their hard work.

Results are up so quickly which is awesome, only one thing..... In the results you have me and Sean in a RWD, we were in AWD. ;)

Which means 3rd in AWD for me, best result for me at Deca ever! Awesome.... :D

We just came down to spectate this time but we had just as much fun as always, Saturday night was a cracker, so glad we stayed :D

Keiran: You're driving has gotten much better since I last watched you at a DECA, top work! That was me who made the Supra/water comment, you know how much I love Supras... Also what was in that shot at Taco Baz's?

Shane: Awesome result! Thanks for the passenger ride too, I needed a GT-R fix :D

Juzzy: Bloody good effort given the condition of those tyres!

Leon: You beat Campbell in your own car - YAY lol

I thought dinner run much smoother this time, for me the food and service was better (I had the mexican, a few people had the parmi and said they didn't feel rash hot but I'd say it was more likely the alcohol talking).

Spewing blood!! That one cone on the Mini Wang Finish Gate cost me 1st place...arrgh... :domokun:

Ryan you're a legend getting the results out so fast...congratulations to the winners...missed out narrowly this time...

Awesome!

Some real surprises in the results!

Russell YOU SUCK! Not even top ten! Proof that your DECA Championship win last year was A FLUKE! Campbell sucks at DECA as well as dick.

And Leon, you should be winning these things...its tradition...Ryan won alot when we was doing them...wait...he still wins :( is he really still running them and youre posing Leon?

Top work Shane and Juz reppin AWD but as if a RWD won considering the conditions!

Ash...making excuses again? Of course you are.

Good work Ryan getting the results up so quick - that HAS to be a record! Im sure thats due to someones fancy work on the spreadsheet.

I have a heap of videos uploading atm.

(around 150 in full HD) they are just taking a while....there is 9 gig or so of them.

I "think" I have got most cars at least once. people in the 2nd group prob more than once.

eg roman there is 4 of yours from the skid pan during the day.

Thus I uploaded pics first as much smaller.

there were a few more cameras out there as well and know laith is probably in a worse spot than me frantically uploading.

SO be patient and know they are coming soon.

Awesome!

lol no excuses here, the WD's were well deserved. One can't do 4WD circle work and expect to get a decent time :teehee:

This should be accessible for everyone, a few car shots and some from the night out.

I think between Kate and I we took more pics of Leon and Campbell than anyone else for some reason but there are a few others also.

Massive thanks to Leon, Bec and Ryan (wait, so as not to create further confusion) Ryan, Leon and Bec for organising everything. Big thanks to all the volunteers who stood out in the freezing cold, and of course to Import Monster for sponsoring.

Dan: Thanks for the water and dfloor rescuing, although I still think that Parmi wasn't right!

Mr. and Mrs. Pryor: Was good chatting with you guys, I'll definitely drag Lauren down to the next one (even if only to prove she exists). She also wants to thank you for finally convincing me to go on a holiday, Thai water fights sound good.

Campbell: Thanks for all the shots. I think.

Tim: You're shit.

Thanks to everyone else for the laughs, advice, photos, videos etc. Probably my last run at DECA in the Supra, will probably volunteer for the rest of the year then hopefully buy an R32 or 180 early next year.

Oh and congrats Ryan! Between watching you, Leon and Roman you three all put up an excellent show of why one should buy a 180. Russell you need to get back out there and wave the R32 flag.

I got 21st, not 28th!

I managed like 170+ points on the morning skidpan, then only got like 40 for all my wang runs combined lol. Like I said, I just need to grow some balls and get push myself a little more.

Nah Roman wasn't going for times, he never does. Nevertheless his driving was still very impressive. 180's just seem like an extremely fun car to drive, more than capable of been driven seriously or stupidly.

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
