I have an expired AASA licence, but I'll be sending in the renewal papers tomorrow - Would it be a problem if I bring my current expired licence in on the day if they haven't sent out my new one in time?

call them if you dont receive it by thursday and they should give you a temp licence/licence number

I've just gotten my car back up and running after a 2year 'rest period' and would really like to participate in this - put me down for a spot and I'll fill out the paperwork this evening when I have my car club membership details handy.

Alright AASA form sent, e-mail sent with all entrance forms and payment made! Can't wait!

Will be good to see ya again Steve.

Yeah looking forward to it Russ, will be good to catch up - Hopefully I can give you a run for your money!

Hope you have a new clutch Steve :D

Haha clutch is going strong Ash! I guess we'll see how strong after Saturday :D Make sure you bring all your 'claimed' kilowatts this time! ;)

Payment just transferred and should be in the account tomorrow - forms will be emailed tonight once I get home and get my CAMS license and car club membership numbers.

Really looking forward to this - I had a blast at the last one I participated in with you guys.

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
