i have been searching for the link to an actual fuel rail kit sold that suits a standard plenum. i will be getting a set of 3/4 length Siemens injectors to suit a FG xr6t. Not sure what suits the standard plenum most say they are all to suit greedy or forward facing set ups. so i wanted to double check if anyone had used these to suit.

non standard plenum links

hey just enquiring about your fuel rail, what length injectors is it for and does it definitely fit using the standard over the top throttle body type plenum in a rb25 r33?

regards

ozsome

Hi there mate,

They will fit 11mm top feed injectors, and it will fit the greedy style manifolds if that's what you mean.

Hey just to clarify, I want it for the standard nissan manifold not the greedy style manifold, and with the injector size I am referring to the length, ie standard ba xr6t injectors are a full length compared to the 3/4 length from the later model fg xr6t.

Regards

Ozsome

As far as I know they will fit the standard length size injectors for both standard and greedy style manifolds. If there is a problem you can always return the item as long as you don't damage it in any way.

I have the whole shebang here.

Fuel rail, injectors (Bosch EV14), spacers ...

Will upload pictures!

I have the same kit on a greedy sytle plenum

Had probems with the fuel rail, the end where not square so had to get them machined to stop fuel leaks.

Also I could not get the alloy adaptors to fit in the inlet manifold once the large o rings were on.

Ended up fitting R33/s15 large grommets in manifold and fitted the injector thru them with the o ring still on the injector aswell

Hi there,

Did you have the same Bosch injectors as well?

My rail seems to be square, but I think it's all made in China (I hope the injectors are no fake)

Now I am concerned about the alloy adaptors!

You did use grommets? Hmmmm ... what about boost leaks then?

What fuel pressure regulator did you use?

Any pictures of your installation maybe?

Cheers,

Andrew

Currently trying to work out exactly what I need to fit the Bosch EV14 injectors, so would be interested in any updates also.

Would like to be able to avoid switching to a front facing plenum if it can be done.

No news on my side.

Have to move house, so the car has to wait ..

But I found out that the EV14, are parts from Ford Motorsport for the Mustang GT.

I guess they fell of some truck ;)

sorry i meant to update this thread i went and talked to my local Efi supplier and he said he has sold the fuel rails and injector set ups to install on a standard inlet manifold, i think his supplier was "premier parts" or something, will know more when i get around to it again i suppose.

ARTZ is considering the same thing, if steveoss or torques could update everyone on their venture that would be great!

So I stop considering and got shit done yo!!!!

With 750cc "Xspurt" stubby (40mm) injectors ,it fits like a glove :bunny:

And they told me it couldnt be done.....

Nice.. I have seen that site, must remeber to keep an eye on it though.

Luckily I got a good deal on the rail, still not that good though

Also notice they have pressure regs with a gauge for 59$, the xspurts were 660$, plus you will need plugs, some new fuel hose and maybe some other bits n pieces..

But all up a top feed kit u could have for about 800-900$..

Thats Cheaper than new Nismos, not much dearer than DWs..

But you have better injectors than both

If you use 40mm injectors, replace the bolt sleeves with just 2 of the original spacers that are in the manifold and 30mm bolts it sits snug as a bug in there..

But I have an issue now that there is a hole in the middle of my rail that needs a bung..the one supplied is too high

Would of had it up and running today if it wasnt for that stupid bung I need..:/

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
