Don't waste your time mick, all you'll be doing is increasing the length of pipe for no noticeable reduction in intake temps.

The air is moving too quickly to pick up much radiant heat off the rocker covers as mentioned above.

As for your leak; if you have any unreinforced rubber joiners then get rid of them. They stretch and allow the air to squeeze out under the hose clamp at high pressure.

I have replaced all the hoses with triple ply reinforced silicone hoses Dave and ive got new hose clamps recommended by yavus they are only bout 8mm wide so they should bite down good on the silicone hoses and since ive replaced the wafer thin alloy pipework with stainless i can nip up the hose clamps that lil bit tighter without crushing the pipe

haha they have gotten you onto the wurth clamps.. I dont mind them but wouldn't call them the 'ducks guts' as they do

lol nice pin, sexy as always :action-smiley-069:

Unreal job on the pipes, looks fantastic! You should make up some rb25 3" metal intake pipes with all the factory connections that bolts up to the factory airbox! Plenty of people like me will buy one. :)

Plenty of people like me can make one. :)

Thanks Harey im planning on making few kits up to sell just need a standard box so i can fab up some pipes

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
