What a wonderful little event. I had a great and relaxing time and met some really nice people.

Here are a few pics that might make you laugh or at least scratch your heads.

Try this one......... A Mazdza Roadpacer! Any Idea what it is?

I saw a couple over the last 35 years but there were plenty who hadn't.

If it looks familiar it should................. The good old Holden Kingswood was sent over to Japan with no running gear. Mazda fitted a rotary engine, their own gearbox and diff and here it is.

Didn't sell well. Wonder why!

Nice Pics Bob.

Was great to see so many great examples of Japanese cars out there today. I was in awe of both Bobs Aust R32 (so, so clean) and the Brembos on Matts V Spec II Nur!

Also loved seeing the variety of cars, especially some of the original Mazda Rotors, and that diminutive Toyota Sports 800.

Had a great day, but the sun bit me hard!

What a great day! Saw some cars that just made me drool. Bob your 32 GTR is immaculate, just an amazing looking machine. I left early to go and work on my car despite the beating sun, now it's ready to take for rego (I think), shame I couldn't have been one weekend earlier! Was so good, and some great Skylines, as well my mate's Legnum, was cool to see a few of them out in force as well, not to mention the RX-7 with a turbo the size of a house!

Great day, it was good to meet Chuey, Vlad, Jason, Chris (Bayside blue BNR34 with TE37 SLs), and Alex (PN-Mad) and a few other guys I hadn't met before. Awesome selection of cars.

Thanks to the organisers for a great event.

    • Could you have not cut off the OEM flange, weld on a larger flange for DBW?
    • Maybe of interest, a little while ago I spoke to one of the guys from Rajab Racing Developments and he hinted to me they could be developing a new cast exhaust manifold. Incidentally, they have already made one for the barra and it looks functional
    • So Bathurst coming up so really need to get this new ECU in. I regret going to flex fuel and all the headaches associated with DBW with cruise etc....a miss the simplicity of Power Fc   I make enough power that I should have just gone back to 98 but...anyway Turns out with the std inlet I cant really go any bigger than 60mm DBW so wasnt able to play with that aspect of the update.
