Wow what a finish.

Sounds like man love . maybe it is and when Im 70 and i meet craig in a pup I will give him a great cuddle. he is awesome and he is the sponsors dream. what a top team skafe and lowndes are.

It wasn't queueing that cost 888 the win as the time is recovered when sitting behind the safety car, what lost 888 the win was the group of cars traveling behind 88 when Whincup had that battery issue, Tander was already past 88 and in the pits and 888 was stuck about 5 cars behind 88 across the top of the mountain at walking speeds...

It wasn't only the queing but also the loss of track position it cost them, working through traffic costs time. but yeah having JW hold everyone up over skyline didn't help.

To be honest I think the race controllers are bit over the top with the safety cars, it does take away from the race.

Is it just me or does Nick Percat have the makings of becoming Australia's answer to Sebastian Vettel?

He seems to be the complete knob. I was half expecting him to raise the finger when Tander crossed the line!

In saying all of that - fair drives from him and Thompson on the weekend. Two names we are sure to hear a fair bit of in the future I'm sure.

Yeah I agree, we where saying that a page or so back.

No doubt a decent steerer, but a complete twat

yeah. decent behind the wheel, just keep him away from cameras and a microphone.

He'll spend the next 40 years scrubbing wheels for DJR to pay for the car he wrote off......

nah, they'll buff that out. that car will be at the gold coast race for sure.

i was at work and tried to watch as much of it as i could. could someone fill me in with what nick percat was saying?

Also curious what Nick Percat said as my mate just had a family dinner with the guy

Also just got a text that apparently Mark Skaife were pretty pissed off at him

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
