Hear and see a old Commo wagon tearing it up past my house, tyre screeching and all and I think wtf.

5 secs later an undercover cover rips past giving chase.

Fcking A lol.

Commodore driver ain't stopping either.

Sounds very exciting over your place.

Had the perfect view as well. House being a corner block seeing them drifto around the corner.

I cant hear no heli.

You in Springvale atm? They were heading in that direction. Car decided to turn down the small streets instead of exiting at Springvale Road.

You enjoyed the action?

Made my night.

Commo driver needed new tyres though. Was still wheelspinning 15m from corner exit. Just sayin.

Im near bunnings atm. hahahaha.

lol at nick.

You spend so much time over the South-east you may as well move over this end. Do da right fing.

interesting leigh!

the car was running 118's @ full weight, anyone know enough about boring/pointless/homo drag racing to derive a rwkw figure from that?

FWIW i ran consistent 119's with 325rwkw @ 1350kg

Different power delivery would mean different MPH, F6s same weight and run much higher MPH for a similar time. There's a lot of discussion about the low MPH on the ford forums. Still sounds like the only way to prove actual rwkw would be a SAU dyno day lol care for a wager? :P

Doubt he/she'll have the coin to purchase new tyres once the po-po got a hold of him/her.

RWD - 509bhp & 1850kg

Power to Weight:280 bhp/ton

0-60:4.5

0-100:9.5

60-100:5.0

1/4 Mile ET:12.36

1/4 Mile Terminal:118

Dragstrip 1/4 Mile ET:12.16

Dragstrip 1/4 Mile Terminal:122

Calculation for the FPV GT on that vid is @ the 380rkw mark

RWD - 435bhp & 1350kg

Power to Weight:327 bhp/ton

Hamish ur car stats, Give or take up to .3-.4 on the quarter @ those speeds for certain tracks dependant on how much above sea level.

these calculations are not gospel but approx

This also doesn't take into consideration diff gears, torque etc obviously.

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
