Cheers!

But wouldn't it bulge out too much?

Shouldn't too much. Dad has 245 on his ford, that's a bIt much lol

I drive a golf, you opinion is invalid for traction...... 205/40s it is then :P

Conformist lol

Out of stock! Just ordered 3 packs from US eBay on your recommendation. ~$25 delivered lol. Still pretty cheap if it does what it claims it does. Lots of people saying good things about it on the Internet.

Oh I didn't buy it through there, my colleague ordered off eBay. They definitely work. Wait half an hour after taking one, lie down in a completely dark room and you'll fall asleep pretty quickly and stay asleep. I was pretty sensitive to the 3mg dose at first and it made me feel hungover the next day but my body got pretty used to it and I'll wake up feeling awesome and refreshed. You might need to adjust your dose once you work out what your body needs. I probably take them once or twice a week when I know I'm going to have sleeping problems. It's a hormone your body naturally produces and it's shown to have a lot of positive health benefits, so in moderation it can't be bad for you. You can't buy them in Australia without a prescription, in the US you can buy them from the supermarket. No issues importing them though.

For the nights I cannot sleep at all Stilnox is the only answer, and it knocks me out cold. But I'll only take it as an absolute last resort.

Yeah it sucks balls. Mine was hitting a ripple strip side-on and getting airborne. Expensive day - two tyres came off the rims (but thankfully were salvageable), scratched the rims up a little, stuffed a rear hub and put cracks in the front lip. The solenoids in the transmission also packed up shortly after. Think it ended up costing my about $1200 in repairs *sigh*

polished existing Slant lips. 17x9+20 all round with 225s

might run 15mm bolt ons all round

I would hope so, I'll be running 17x9 +22 on the golf rear :P

BBS club represent! Might also need some slight gaurd rolling although wheels are the same offset as already on and they don't rub at the mo. However need to mod exhaust to run a little lower so will have to look again. Tracking new lips and outers/bolts from Germany at the moment.

Quite oh my!

Is that the going rate for rolled guards these days?

Oh my.

Careful how much you order, customs usually take an interest as it requires a prescription in Aus

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
