haha bunch of pansies.

try a car with black vinyl seats, chrome shifter and metal steering wheel, with no aircond..

all factory baby...

It doesn't count if you can't actually drive it...

it was on the road for 3 odd years, so I have a fair idea.

my first car had no aircond either.

85 subaru brumby, however it was a t top model,

so you pop the roofs off, wind down the windows and you were sorted in seconds.

plus the dodgy plastic they used in everything in it never changed temps.

evo's can be easily modded to approx 230awkw without having to worry about EPA's and VASS etc

i may cop a defect for wheels or low... but that's personal choice and in a clean ~2004 evo, fairly easy to get a roady

Knox TMU will still get you for having a factory turbo or using too shiny a wax.

yes, but i'm not worried about a standard defect... sure it's annoying but it's something that can be cleared easily

I think being a model citizen well dressed with a baby seat in the back will drastically reduce likelihood of a defect

Anyone who says the way you dress doesn't matter has never dressed well enough to experience the difference.

Fact. Like it or not.

I'm guessing jacket would be unbearable in this heat that's why everyone's riding in singlets/tshirts?

Think I'll stick with car till it cools a bit

Wise or weak? Hmm

In other news, boat almost ready.

I don't find this heat that bad for riding...with a vented textile jacket it's alright while you're moving. But I'm not jumping at going for a ride either...

40 degree days, I've ridden on one of them and, stopped at the lights is your own personal hell.

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
