Good thing about a litre bike...stay in 1st gear the whole time. Sure you're not mistaking rear brake lock up for the downchange/compression lock up? I thought I was getting compression lock up in the corners on the spur...turns out I was just heavy on the rear brake during some oh shit moments. Driving habit transferred to riding ftl.
