Who the hell is this Rajab bloke? He's EVERYWHERE on SAU but can't find anyone called Rajab. Only person I know called Rajab is the mob who tune VL Tur-bros

I have not died. In fact, I have been busy and moved to Pakenham Paul. When are you moving around mate?

had a change of plans mate! the wife got moved to knox so we are renting in cranbourne at the mo... have to come over for a visit mate!

Seriously dude? Every kid in Perth including Pat knows who Rajab is...

haha. the answer lies in the wt.

Got links? School me pleaseeee

Shiiiiiiiiit. I'm off to the US on Wednesday but I've gotta pop around sometime. Can't rememebr if I told you but I stopped being a tight-ass and forked out the $8k for a full airbag suspension setup with self-levelling. Now looking for new rims that will give me better fitment than the usual commodore tuck haha

Rajab is not like other deities; he does not care if you believe in him or not. Therefore no need to go explaining him or preaching our faith to you. The burden is on you to find Rajab.

bbs mate. get some arch work done and some mad bbs bmw offset. i cant stand tuck on commodores drives me nuts. and with the ve arches they shoudl never be tucking! when you sell your 20's give me a shout. im looking for some street rims man. save the hsv wheels for track.

He is exactly, what you said.

The guy who works on VL Tur-bros!

Full hek-dose bro!

Hahaha alright sweet, but why Rajab? Is there a back story for it? Did he f*ck up someones car?

Have looked, but I'm torn between concave or dish wheels. Thinking Lenso D1Rs in matte black, staggered fitment with 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rears. Deep dish and a tight fitment without being mexican and needing amssive guard work ;)

You keen on the G8s I got on there now? If so, they're all yours man. Will sell them dirt cheap cos the k*nts at the Holden Dealership gutterrashed a couple of them and hid it well with touch-up paint. Didn't notice till 3-4 months later when I cleaned each wheel individually :(

shit yea ill have the g8's ill have to get em drilled for pre ve fitment. hit me up when you have an idea of how much you want mate, ill get putting money aside in the car fund again. lol

concave are awesome but i think dish on the ve would look sweet. its basically a wide ass box, so itll look ace. ill have a look for some pontiac pics in a bit.

Nope, won't even need to drill them I heard as I had to use hug rings to get the right bore size fitment. Remove my hub rings and they should fit right on. We can always test it out when I get the new rims manggg. Oh, you'll be getting 5 rims too btw. 4 with tyres and one without :)

Don't know, we all just associate him with VL Tur-bros.

Not hard to miss with the big sticker on the side.

shiiiit. they nice.

the mileage you do tyres will be farked by the time your ready will they not?

also its not bore size. the ve use a thiner wheel stud. so they need drilling out to 15mm from 12 i think.

I recently got new tyres for the back and they're still meaty as hell. Will be buying as soon as I get back from the states, which will be December 8.

Ahhhh that's right, good spot. I think us VE boys use a 14mm I think.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
