mix of both cars

I made the mistake of looking at the dates of these... been so long since I drove in anger on a track its depressing

You do know there is a very easy way to fix such a problem?

Yeah that's why pretty much all of my Targa pics have watermarks - always been too tight to fork out the $400 on pics! :)

Here's some others of my car(s) I've found laying around.

And a good one of the last girl before the suspension was sorted!

I've always wondered..... what does the number plate signify?

You are so uncultured :)

It's the name of the dragon out of Tolkien's novel "The Hobbit" - because the old girl was also a fire breathing, money hoarding monster. :)

Mmmmmkay

Gotta agree Zebra, love the name and the reference (knew it was familar) but the non geek reply had me on the floor with laughter, rare so soon after waking up! Thanks guys, also that shot of the 34 bottoming out...ouch. So painful to watch, surely it was a nightmare inside the car?

was that with stock suspension or just way too low?

love the car and good to see a 34 used in anger, absolute dream car for me and the more Tolkien references you can fit on one the better!

Yeah, and he had a belly encrusted with jewels and ancient gold, unspeakable amounts of wealth lost forever.

Sits as one of the most consistantly accurate representations of GT-R ownership you will ever find in fiction, hahaha.

Some of mine - all at the RAC driving centre though. Almost, almost made it to barbs but then had to pull out due to selling car rolleyes.gif

hard to do this when you've had so many cars... I'll start with my favourite car. the Supra was so much fun to drive:

So why did you sell it, tard :)

The main reason was I found myself going sideways into a gravel trap stopping less than a foot away from the tyre barrier, which made me realise I REALLY didn't want to crash the Supra!

The options were to reign it in a bit and drive at 9/10ths or buy something I didn't care much about, that would be alot cheaper to repair and wouldn't break your heart if it was totalled... A couple of years later that part of it paid off. I couldn't care less that I crashed the 180SX! Well, I cared that I crashed, but I didn't care about the car.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
